getting my OTA 4.0.4 as we speak,
on rogers network,phone from telus.
for those that wanna try this.
i did a factory reset to stock, then went to manage app, and under google framework or something, clear data, then go to call screen, *#*#checkin#*#*
then it shows a new update..
before this i know did the checkin thing and it doesn't show, but it did after a factory reset.
my main phone is the iPhone so i didn't care about losing info on my nexus, but not sure for those that wanna keep there data might wanna do a back up

restart phone and it should pop up.

just got mine after i did this
Manage APPs -> ALL->Google services Framwork: clear data ->dial *#*#2432546#*#* -> check update
its working on my Nexus from Wind
Make sure you turned on Google Location Services

I was running 2.3.4 previously.

It didn't update for me when I cleared google services framework. When I force closed it, I got the update.
I'm on mobilicity and had 4.0.3 previously

I'm on mobilicity and did the dial *#*#2432546#*#* -> check update
as stated above but didn't clear anything and it still worked. but the notification came like 5-10min after.
liking the new interface but i'm not sure if the battery life is better/worse or the same. is it sync'd to the android market by default now?

got an update today on my nexus s, on the rogers network. For some reason when I try to install the update, I get the android logo with an exclamation mark...

Finally the ICS update became available to me 2 days ago... but as luck would have it.. I never updated. This morning I noticed my phone at 100% charge talked on it for an hour , didn't go down decdied to power it down and reboot... Now it wont power back up! Any idea why? Tried a different battery as well.

Received my OTA update to 4.04 yesterday . I have a telus version. It took less than 20mins to complete. Everything runs well aside from the little sluggishness.

Anyone know where i can get my Nexus S fixed?
My power button is busted, won't work anymore. Right now i moved my "screen unlock" to volume to be able to still use the phone..but if my phone ever runs out of battery. I'm so dead. lOL
Suggestions?!?!

As for the guys who are trying the OTA and getting the android with a triangle and exclamation mark, try the method I posted above. I would try to help you guys IRL but I'm not sure where you all live and would be convenient.

Today I turned off my nexus s because of an exam but after i turned it back on, it is stuck in the Google logo screen.
I have never rooted this phone, this phone is from mobilicity. I would like to get this phone to work again. Thanks!

Well fuck....
I'm suddenly using my phone and bam, "Unfortunately, Android keyboard has stopped"
Reboot / Battery pull, same problem persists; I searched for solution on google and they just told me to wipe the phone...
Phone is from Mobi, just stock, I didn't do anything to it... so its not rooted etc
Any help would be appreciated...oHenry told me to run latinime.apk.. but I have no clue how to do it
I have no appinstaller on my phone either, am I SOL? lol
If it matters... it also says "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped"
