So Rhaegar had his marriage with Elia Martell annulled and secretly married Lyanna Stark! All Praise Jon Snow (I wonder what his Targaryen name is) perhaps Bran will know this part.

Berz out.

Wouldn't surprise me if his real name is Aegon Targaryen.

I know it's not the easiest to pack on muscle, but I was slightly disappointed that Joe Dempsie didn't come back to the show with massive arms :lol :mamoru:

He's probably trying to paint her as a spy for Cersi.

Their earlier dialogue, the one with Arya and Sansa, on why she didn't defend Jon when the lords were shitting on him. So now with Arya thinking that Sansa and LittleFinger are working together for Cersi, then shit might go down.

Another fun thing is the whole Sword ownership going on.

Jon has Longclaw. It was given to him by Jeor Mormont. Jorah is now with Jon and technically it belongs with his family and should be Jorah's sword now.
Dondarrion has "Lightbringer" (if it really is Lightbringer) and it is said to be the sword of the Azor Ahai. Jon is possibly Azor Ahai so what if Jon gets Lightbringer and gives Jorah Longclaw?!

Ch28 08-14-2017 01:13 PM

I can see Jon trying to give Longclaw back to Jorah and Jorah won't accept it, because he'll say the sword belonged to his father and it was given to Jon.

I just can't wait to see Beric cut down some wights and white walkers with his flaming sword.

Unless Beric's sword is made of V.Steel he might want to rethink stepping up to a WW.

Now if Beric mowed a path for Jon to take on a WW then I'm game for that scene as much as I am for a dragon to come to the rescue for a wight bbq :o

We know The Hound will survive because he's in the trailers down in the south, and Jon will survive because he's Jon. There's a real likelihood that everyone else except for those two could die. Beric will probably try and take on a WW and die. He's been foreshadowing his death for awhile now, so I can definitely see both him and Thoros not making it past next week's episode.

m3thods 08-14-2017 04:49 PM

It'd be silly to bring Gendry back and die without making weapons with all of that dragonglass they mined as well. It also doesn't make sense to have Jorah back without meeting little Lyanna and just 10 seconds after getting back to Dany, so I think he makes it. Same goes for Tormund not saving/being saved by Brienne in some future battle.

I'm with you though it's the end of the road for Thoros and Beric.

He's baiting Arya

But it's possible that Sansa is baiting him

I hope so at least, I hope she doesn't go back to being dumb

highfive 08-14-2017 06:37 PM

I think Arya is baiting him. Honestly...she was trained by no one. Seems too obvious for her to get caught like this.

Next episode is going to be 71 mins!

Honestly with the way this season has gone I feel they have hinted Little Finger will get killed many times. I feel this is all a bait by the sisters and when it comes to light Sansa as the Lady of Winterfell will order his death and Arya will end him with the dagger which has had so much focus on imo. It'll be sad to see him go on some level, that man knew how to play the game but he underestimated Sansa and played his cards wrong.

even just before that, in the scene with Drogon being all submissive to Jon pretty much reveals Jon's a Targaryen

.....and Daenarys looked turned on af by that.

gilly 08-15-2017 07:32 AM

I dont get it. Why didnt Jon say hi to Arya and Bran before going beyond the wall? If it was supposed to be a secret for capturing a white walker, he could of met up with them secretly. He already knows they came back from the message he got from the raven.

DragonChi 08-15-2017 07:38 AM

I'm pretty sure Jon left for Dragonstone before Arya and Bran showed up.

He sailed directly to Eastwatch (which btw is the title of this episode) from Dragonstone . Winterfell isn't on the way, it's inland. No time for a detour the way everyone is teleporting around the world this season

blkgsr 08-15-2017 12:24 PM

ya they're all moving around with no real consequence of time

I thought the same about gendry and using him to forge dragon glass weapons, but then other people I was watching with brought up the point that until now, almost all the dragonglasss weapons are super rudimentary and just daggers/arrow tips/spear tips. So probably doesn't need gendry to make swords etc.

Berzerker 08-15-2017 01:00 PM

It's very odd to bring him back now. I mean "technically" Gendry is now King of Westeros being Roberts Son. Roberts rebellion started this whole mess. How do you think Dany is going to respond knowing Roberts Son is now fighting along side Ned Targaryen.

Jon snow IS Fire and Ice. Targaryen and Stark.

Obsidian can't be "formed" into swords that's why it's always axe heads, spear tips, daggers, and arrows. It's literally rock that gets chipped into shapes. Not much Gendry can do with that other than make the stuff that holds those things.

Berz out.

thumper 08-15-2017 01:21 PM

i thought they needed gendry to forge valerian steel weapons because sam may have found the knowledge on how to do it in those scrolls he took with him? right now only 3 metalsmiths (4 if you include gendry) know how to reforge valyrian steel, but not from scratch.

DragonChi 08-15-2017 01:24 PM

^ I was just thinking that, or that dragonglass might be needed to make valerian steel.

The running theory is that dragonglass is required in order for steel to be forged into valyrian steel.

GLOW 08-15-2017 03:02 PM

i thought jon didn't go back b/c all the lords of the north wouldn't want him to leave again so might as well stay away until all his shit is done.

He's a bastard and has no claim to the throne. Only a king can legitimize the name of a bastard, like when Stannis offered to do so for Jon. Right now, only Cersei, Dany, and Jon (technically he's a King now) can do that, but there's no way in hell Cersei or Dany would offer. Jon also has no reason to do so, as that would put him on Dany's bad side and he can't afford to have enemies. So, as it stands right now, he's harmless and a threat to no one (if he even wants to have anything to do with the game of thrones).

"Technically", Cersei would still be the Queen. All Baratheon's with a rightful claim to the throne are dead. Even if the Lannister childen were not the rightful heirs, they're all dead too. With no other heirs, Cersei would still be Queen.
