Without the ice javelin you'd think the dragons could have made pretty quick work of the undead army the way they were going at them there. Now their fucked with the ice dragon |
If you were the Ice King would you have taken the safe route and take down the biggest dragon who was just chillin right in front of you first or do what he did and take out one of the smaller ones that was actively laying waste to your army first? |
Season finale 81 mins. :megusta: |
Writing doesn't make sense seems lazy half-assed, hopefully this isn't how GRRM envisioned the ending in his books. Bad decisions made all around, you'd think logically Cersei would believe in the WW having her own "Zombie Mountain" next to her. Arya/Sansa "conflict" seems dumb can't Bran just tell them what's going on lol. |

If we're to think that it wasn't a "dramatic choice", maybe there's something about Viserion that the NK was thirsty for. That said though, he still tried to nab Drogon too so this explanation seems pretty out of left field. I think it was a decision made to make the NK look so OP that there really is no hope for our favourite living Westerosi heroes. Oh well- time to just enjoy the ride and turn my brain off  |

How? Night king was supposed to be around during the first men. |
NK didn't kill Drogon because #plotarmor. Had Drogon been killed then they'd all be dead cause the wights would've overwhelmed them easily, since Rhaegal and Viserion were still flying high up and fire bombing them The writing of the show has gone to shit because that fat fuck hasn't finished his books. D&D are going off the major plot points that GRRM gave them and filling the rest in with what they think would make good tv. If there's one person to blame for this mess then it's GRRM. 7 YEARS into the show and he still hasn't written shit |
i feel like the arya/sansa conflict is the dumbest shit EVER. "you wouldn't believe what i've been through", "oh really? you wouldn't believe what I'VE been through" how about they just sit down and chat for a bit, each do a bit of explaining. they literally have nothing better to do. |
behind the scenes: The frozen Lake |
is the finale next week?! |

Damn I knew one of the dragons was going to bite the dust before seasons end. I feel like it's a pretty safe bet the ice dragon will kill the other one, and Drogon will be the last dragon standing. |
Am I the only one who found this episode to be very predictable? It was cool to see the dragons, but I felt like there was no excitement because you knew what was going to happen. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like this season is the worst one yet because they have no pre-written material to go off of. It feels very disjointed and all over the place. |
no my coworker was saying this today how disappointed he was at the predictability of that episode as well...he said he was calling stuff during show and then it happens |
i, too, thought the episode was super predictable |
This season is the dumbest and most predictable, but also the best in terms of action. Maybe that's GRRM's fault, but at the same time look at this thread and others around the internet, and for 6 years now, people have been complaining about how there isn't enough action except in the last couple episodes of each season. Hell I have even seen people complain about how one of the episodes of THIS season was too slow. FailFish Again, these people are the reason TV and movies mostly suck now. |
If GRRM finished his damn books, someone would've died by by now. How's that for predictions? :lawl: |
its unfortunate because season 1-6 was so good, then season 7 just plummeted and its the only season with zero book material, which probably explains it |
The Arya/Sansa story line surely cannot be this terrible, there has to be more. Arya's story went from being one of the best to the worst on the show. |

Can't believe that MADE that entire lake set. Crazy |
people saying it was predictable, dont tell me that before the episode you ever thought that the WW's were gonna grab one of the dragons :/ |

yea but up until that minute i doubt many people had anticipated that |
I always thought Jon was going to ride a dragon. Wouldn't it be fitting if he rode and Ice Dragon? Dany rides a Fire dragon and Jon ends up riding an Ice one after he kills the Night King? A song of Ice and Fire? Berz out. |
