Shit is going to hit the fan next week. Can't wait. Podrick, Tormund, and Ghost were this week's MVPs. |
Tormund lololol |
Arya's scene with Gendry was a little unnerving for me... I've been watching since the show's inception and I still consider Arya to be our baby assassin. I definitely had to pause and look up how old Maise Williams is lol |

Our group is playing "shots for deaths" and so far it's been a very slow season. I guess next few weeks are going to be fast and furious! :5shots: |

MANNNNNNNNNNNNN WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY Spoiler! |
I was expecting two episodes for this, but they did it in one, so it's no surprise that some events ended so quickly Wish some points were expanded upon, but /shrug sweet episode! |
HOLYYYYYYYYYY SHIT! So GoT has been "fine" for a while, but this was fucking incredible. I watched Avengers and GoT today, and GoT was 10X better. And I liked the Avengers! The heroic moments were all done in the sake of emotional impact, rather than just "hero porn" And my favourite character since the first book, Arya, is the hero of the whole damn battle? Fuck yeah! I almost yelled out loud at that moment. As for how she got by the others, she has those powers, and was reminded of them by Melisandre. You could even see one of the walker's hair get blown in the breeze, and he looked around.. She was that breeze. Just amazing, amazing television. Wow! Also I'm glad the NK stuff is over, and we go back to political drama and fighting between the houses. That is when GoT is at its best by far. If anything the "Winter" stuff is kind of a distraction from the best stuff. The houses, names, banners, all mean something. The NK is just a Bad Guy With an Army of Zombies. They're cool and powerful, but kind of dumb compared to the rest of the characters. Think about Tywin Lanister and what his death meant. What he meant to the Lannisters themselves. Such a great character (and amazing actor) But I digress. This was a great battle, conclusive, and glad they're moving on from the Zombies. I think it will get REALLY good for the rest of the season. |
Fuck..i watched it on my TV first last night. The whole episode was so dark I can barely see anything...it was dark to the point i can't make out any details, I actually can't see the zombie horde at all when they charged into the unsullied, or wtf was going with the dragon fight... And I already have my TV brightness and gamma set to max... (The screen was very bright, when I go to the menu screen it's so bright it hurts my eyes, but the show itself was still really dark) So i thought they just made the show that dark on purpose... Afterward I play the show again on my PC, the show is still dark but I can actually see the details on the PC monitors.. (with like a white haze on it) I think the tv (sony) just post process the dark scene and make it more "solid black" instead of having that white haze look...totally ruined the episode for me. |
