The show deviates so much from the book, but still completely crafts the world correctly and the characters ring so true. The feel of the culture and customs feels so legit.

Yes it's pretty stupid to post a spoiler from last night's show, unlabeled, then post a major book spoiler, also unlabeled.

Let's have a new rule:

All BOOK spoilers MUST be labeled.

You MUST label which book it is spoiling. To keep things simple, use "Book 1" or "Book 2" etc. If you forget, at least try to explain if the show will be spoiled or not as of the latest episode. We'll start off with more of a 'common sense' protocol than rather than having strict verbiage.

Spoiler tags are not necessary for the TV show. If you come into this thread without having watched the latest episode, it's your own damn fault. This prevents confusion - if you see a spoiler tag, assume that it is from a book, 100%. If it is labeled, you can decide whether you want to read it. If it is not labeled, report the post and we'll edit and give points.

You jerks are lucky I read this thread. I add quite a few spoiler tags or just delete + ban but it didn't occur to me that was a huge spoiler for people that aren't that far in the books.

We've gone with zero tolerance with spoilers in the past...might be time to go back to nazi modding.
