Sansa is 14? Fuck, I'm going to jail ... |
haven't watched this show yet about to start though got the blu-rays for the first two seasons Craig Ferguson keeps talking about it on his show (even though he's never watched it before too supposedly) because he's hoping to get a role on it (or he's jk) anyway Craig Ferguson has David Benioff on his show tonight for those interested where he talks about how he already has another book plotted but doesn't have any time at all to write it Quote:
edit: that pic was of an australian model ;) lol |
How much actual screen time does each person get? I just realized that despite the season being 10 EPA, theon probably only has like 30 minutes total of screen time and it was all spent in the torture room. He probably took less than a week to film it all and he's done for the year b Posted via RS Mobile |
hello khaleesi :jerkit: |
I thought the whore that was sitting in one of the 3 Captians lap was gorgeous. (The Second Sons) I did a quick search but didn't find anything on her. There HAS to be more of her somewhere! lol :drool |
Tits on Daenerys Targaryen... :megusta: |
It's hard to fit all the characters into an episode with all that goes on in book 3. Book 3 really is the climax of the first arc of the book...they could've possibly split it into 3 seasons even. I don't know why they bothered to put Theon in this season...they could've cut him out and revealed that he's still alive a season later and it would've been brilliant. |
Spoiler regarding future episodes/book 4/theon Spoiler! |
whats the deal with the black obsideon dagger that fatty used to kill the vanilla ice ? made by the first men from what they said in the show.... i dont read the books, but I'm assuming it was something the first men figured out works against the icemen and I assume that knowledge was lost in time.... and I also assume fatty is too stupid to put the pieces together because that would be a big advantage to the rest of the world behind the wall when the icemen decide to attack.... getting their hands on that material to make more weapons for the ice zombie pocalypse |
^I don't read the book either but I think the Night Watch knows about the dragonglass. That's why they defeat the White Walkers I think. Although I think fatty dropped the dagger and run after accidentally killing the White Walker. |
didn't think i would really like the show but i gave it a shot anyway the other day and im up to episode 8 of season 1 already  Im starting to wish there were more seasons so that I wouldn't get caught up so soon |
Can't wait for episode 9! Always the best episode of the season. |
In the book the dagger shatters once used. I don't get why they didn't do that in the show. Now Sam just looks like a moron who dropped his torch, sword, and dagger. |
I don't get why everyone is up in arms about Sam dropping the obsidian dagger. Sam is not a warrior and he was scared out of his wits so he GTFO lol. Also, it's obvious that later he will recount his story to the Watch and they'll "figure out" that obsidian weapons can be used against the White Walkers. |

So for those of you wondering about the dagger, you have to think about the setting for the books/show. Westeros doesn't have communication tech. They send short messages by raven and even that is unreliable at times. It is before the printing press so copies of books are written by scribes and there isn't a good number of them out there. Knowledge is not common. In fact, unless you were raised by a noble family with money, you are illiterate. This is why you see Davos Seaworth learning to read. This is the same reason you hope to gain favor with an noble house so your child can become a squire. Again, I point to Davos, a low born, who saved Stanis with his onions to become the Onion Knight, so the son of a knight can become a squire. That's why Davos' boys are literate and he is still not. Now consider all that, PLUS it is a world where magic, grumpkins, dragons and wights have become extinct. Almost nobody remembers the true purpose of the wall, it was built to keep out the Wights and Others. In the time of the books, this has been long forgotten and people think the Wall is to keep out the Wildlings. This is why the Night's Watch is really only running on tradition and explains why only 3 of 19 Castles are manned, why they have few people and no resources. So if they can forget about why The Wall was built, they can surely have forgotten about Dragonglass and it's usage. In the book, Sam spends time in the library away from his brother and reads a lot. He was tasked with finding out about the others, and he had to dig through the archives to find the info. This is how we were introduced to the Dragonglass. It is that forgotten in a world where information and knowledge is already scarce. :fuckyea: Any questions boys and girls? |
wooot just finished season 1... can't believe they got rid of boromir so soon |
Just watched all 3 seasons in 4 days, can't wait for the next episode! |

What happened to Arya's wolf? I know she told it to run to protect it but I had thought it would stick close by or go back to Winterfell or something given the close rapport that they all have with their wolves And her sword, needle, I thought she'd get it back given the attention towards it does the book give any info? or should i just keep watching and will get an answer? (already into season 3) There are some other questions that I thought I would keep until I fully caught up but I keep forgetting them that's why Im asking about those few now before I forget them as well ;) |
I hope her wolf finds his way back to her and saves her or something |
