The logical side to me loves what happened. The emotional side has been broken and fallen into darkness with little hope of returning. :alone: |
i'll just leave this here to ease the pain.. |
Just watched the RW episode. Fuck this show man, like Hibiki said, why can't the good guys win sometimes? All of a sudden, Frey and Bolton show up on the show and they're so powerful and badass? Horrible fucking writing. . . . . . . . See you all next week. |
Two books left, it takes years to finish one.. so what happens when the tv show catches up with the book? :considered: |

The Frey's had enough men to help the Starks change the outcome of the war, hence why Rob was there. Storm of Swords book spoiler (and an partial explanation for episode 9) Spoiler! Quote:

I'm more worried about the actors aging. Brann already looks very tall for his age and Arya's going to be older than her character soon too. Not a lot of time passes in the books. |
And Arya has grown up fast... When she started: http://tepe68.files.wordpress.com/20...lliams-003.jpg Now: http://i.imgur.com/fvZIR12.jpg |

In a way, I am glad that Ned Stark died. It's the game of thrones, you win or you die. The theme is dark.. it's not pretty, but it's also realistic. (Bad things have to happen in order to 'win', and real life is not all fun and games.) That being said, this Red Wedding was just.. crazy. Epic TV. |
Spoiler! god damn episode. i literally stared at the credits rolled and stared at the screen after the credits finish rolling, trying to comprehend wtf just happened. |
damn the silent credits! made the rage so much worse |
Episode 9 reactions lol Spoiler! |

The more cruelty in this world makes for a better show of course but it's just such a grim feeling knowing that good people can't prevail and that there is so few of them left now. Reminds me of that comic book, Wanted where it's about a world run by Super Villains. Sure it was a good read and idea but I don't like the idea that there is no hope for good to overcome evil. Hearing the Rains of Castamere is gonna be haunting. |
*plays Rains of Castarmere in dark ally* |
I believe this was the doing of Stannis Baratheon, when he recited the names of the people he wanted dead two eps ago Glad Brynden Tully is still alive, hope he breaks some skulls... unless he was in on the plot too :suspicious: |
Hahahhahaa, the reactions all over Facebook and twitter are hilarious. And you guys too are like omgwtf. I've been waiting for this ep to come out forever and wanted to see everybody lose their shit. :toot: Mild Book 3 Spoilers Spoiler! |
It's a pretty tragic series but I guess that's the nature of life back then. When so few things are outlawed, the baddest of them all rule. |

The way the red wedding developed in the book was much more enjoyable and wayyy more of a WTF moment as you read it because the way it happened was so subtle but so well written as I read it I was like wow wow wow...hold on a sec go back and read it and my eyes were just wide like WTF!!!
