when Daenerys starts speaking valyrian, thats soooo hot...
Spoiler!
man... the fight with that meereen champion was WEAK!
Much better in the book. Actually... It was one of my favorite 1v1 battles in the books. That fight belonged to such a cool character that they deleted.
They really ruined something that could have been so cool.
Spoiler!
Strong Belwas! The gigantic eunich pit fighter from meereen.
He blocks the lance with his tiny buckler multiple times, waited for the lancer to wound him before decapitating him, then Belwas takes a dump on him and used his defeated opponent's cape to wipe his ass.
Belwas lets each of his opponents cut him once before he kills them.
Giving the fight to Daario seems like such a waste. Especially when they gave it to the new actor who looks like even more of a wimp.
Would u guys date a girl who doesn't like u watching porn or sex scenes on tv shows and movies? Including game of thrones? Posted via RS Mobile
Any woman like that has no self confidence and trust issues so no.
Getting back on topic, sure loving the way this seasons started off Sunday can't come soon enough.

This is where a lot of my friends , both males and females, actually prefer the TV show over the books, - I'm not talking specifically about the Belwas character. But about how the book has unnecessary gore and sadistic scenes that are just sadistic and gory for the sake of being so. And apparently these scenes do not really add value to the story. They make it seem like the author is writing the books to cater to people that have very similar tastes to him.
Personally I havnt read the books and based on the comparisons I tend to agree and that HBO is smart by ensuring it caters to a more broader audience.
Holy crap watch s1 and s2 again. Littlefinger's voice sounds different in both of them. The louder he talks the less of am accent he has. Posted via RS Mobile

I thought this as well. At first I thought it was poor acting. But then it got me thinking:
Do you think it's a deliberate attempt by the actor to portray Littlefinger's "fakeness"? I won't go into details with book spoilers but Littlefinger's history is basically scratch and claw and slimeball his way to power.
I'm probably overreaching but I think that it's possible given GoT's deliberate nature with show details (most recently, the purple wedding poisoning).
i like that daenerys almost has a "totalitarian" attitude towards justice. i expected her to cave and be merciful since the show is making her out to be such a sweetheart. but damn. those screams.
I haven't read the book so I don't know what's in store in regards to the White Walkers and I know the GOT universe is big but am I the only one getting fed up with the teasing? Give me some damn White Walkers action already!

I don't think the show is following the Other/WW plot that closely from what I understand, which means a few things:
- Maybe the show runners are consolidating/hastening the plot (compared to the books) with respect to the white walkers given they know the general direction GRRM wants to go. I'm thinking of the final scene of the last episode. I'm pretty sure that's not in the books, and seems to infer quite a bit regarding how they operate.
- There isn't that much in the books yet regarding them, so you're not missing THAT much. The fact that the show is showing seemingly more than we're led to believe in the books is a positive sign for impatient folk such as myself imo.
That's what I mean with the show seemingly speeding up the pace of the books (at least with respect to the Others/White Walkers).
As for it being a spoiler- I'm not sure. If it hasn't happened yet in the book, then it can't be a spoiler imo. The backstory is one told to the Stark children so it's probably harmless to take out of the tag.
It looks like the show has something for everyone, even book die-hards. Exciting times ahead!
its all speculation, its been mentioned/hinted at in the book. theres no concrete evidence as its technically theory. it's also mentioned in the wiki page
