I'm loving the back story about the Bolton's. I was actually happy for Ramsay. It's literally all he wants to do, make his dad happy.

Ramsay is the type of guy you want fighting for your side, that's for sure.

Like the Brad Marchand of GoT ...

Any scene with roose Bolton in it is money. The actor playing him is awesome. Always keeps his composure.

Ch28 06-06-2014 10:32 PM

I actually like the Bolton's and their sick tradition of flaying people lol

are there any good websites that stream GoT tonight? I am not at home to watch it on HBO, so I wanna stream it at work

or are streams illegal to ask for? if yes, disregard my request

nabs 06-08-2014 04:25 PM

Pretty sure it's illegal posting a link to a stream.

StylinRed 06-08-2014 08:23 PM

[edit] FYI - this kid is significant because Ygritte was the one that killed his parents (potato farmers). Everything came full circle for him

I love war battle scenes, so I enjoyed this episode. It was also nicely directed.

Soo much action and chaos everywhere.

Really? To me, this was far more spectacular than anyone should have expected for a TV show, especially when you consider how lacklustre the rest of the series's battles have been. So many huge battles were crippled.. Blackwater, Dragonstone, Siege of Winterfell, most notably Mereen which was as weak as it gets... This was by far WAY more spectacular than any other battle that has been on the show, and had tons of FX with giants, mammoths, and direwolves, sweet one on one combat, epic moments like the chain sweep, gruesome deaths, close up moments, etc, etc, etc

The more I think of it, the more I wonder if you were even paying attention, or are being sarcastic? :seriously:

Spartacus 06-08-2014 10:14 PM

That ending. Tugging on my heart strings.

Ronin 06-08-2014 10:26 PM

Ygritte :tears:

fckin ship anchor embedded in the wall.....holy shit that was rowdy :awwyeah:

radioman 06-08-2014 10:41 PM

Wish they showed the fight in the tunnel.

EDIT: John is supposed to be 14-15? It's crazy how young they're supposed to be and what they're actually doing in the books/show

I'm actually glad they increased the age of many of the characters, because certain scenes would be VERY creepy otherwise :heckno:

On the other hand, specific age is pretty ambiguous in the book anyway. What's more important is whether you were born in the summer or winter, or once you are past "30" etc.

really? in my memory the battle of blackwater was a lot more exciting may have simply been the impression it left on me though

but i was also hoping for more magical/fantasy creatures and expected them to do a lot more than simply guide the mammoth to the gate and I was hoping to see that fight at the inner gate with the giant that got through

don't get me wrong though I still enjoyed it very much
