It's hardly even related any more, IMO.

Not that it's a bad thing mind you... In fact in some ways the show is better (you don't have to read through dozens of paragraphs describing food or clothes in great detail for instance)

Tonight's episode is hands down the best 20 minutes of fighting in the entire series so far. Seeing that white walker's face when his spear didn't shatter Longclaw was :lol

the north of the wall scene was fantastic

but i really enjoyed Tyrion and Daenerys' scene too, that already made it a good episode for me

the end was just the icing on the cake
