so is denaerys also infected with the scale disease since she took jorah's hand when they were escaping? (and her assistant subsequently took her hand after)
Only if she touched it (which she didn't, since it would have been covered)
The fuck Stannis? This goes against his whole Book Character. This makes it very hard to stand behind his cause. The fact he sent Davvos away because he knew he would stand up to him goes to show he knew it was wrong. Curious to see what the Red Woman does with the power.
The scene where Dany fly's away on Drogon was almost like the books. If it follows the books, we won't see much of her for awhile.
I assume they wrote him out because he should've been in the show by now if he was.
If this was a response to me,
Spoiler!
If they wrote Griff out, that's a pretty major divergence from the books. Tyrion was the one who was bringing Griff back, so perhaps now that Dany is gone him and the survivors can go and link up with the Mercenaries that have Griff and start the storyline there? He's supposed to ride the 3rd Dragon! One for Dany, one for Jon Snow, and one for Griff!

Berz out.
When I read this part of your spoiler...

If the speculation is true that Jon Snow is the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyana Stark (who he "kidnapped", which started Baratheon's rebellion), then that might make sense. (I doubt this will be the case anyway, as he doesn't look anything like a Targaryen)
Griff makes no sense to ride a dragon though. If anything it would be the one he's protecting, Aegon, (who would be Jon Snow's real brother) who also hasn't been introduced in the show.

well if your whole basis of Jon snow not being the son of Rhaegar and Lyana based on his looks, Rhaenys looked like her dornish mother, Elia. Jon could just look like Layana but still a Targaryen. I know this is all theories and no right or wrong, but I'm sticking with the theory of Jon being the kept secret son of Rhaegar and Layana

Didn't Ned even say at one point that he looked just like his Mother?
Found this online....
Many readers believe that Jon is not the son of Eddard Stark. Instead, he is the son of Prince Rhaegar Targaryen and Eddard's sister Lyanna Stark. Rhaegar and Lyanna disappeared together to the Tower of Joy early in Robert's Rebellion. There, it's believed, Rhaegar leaves a pregnant Lyanna to defend his family's dynasty.
At the end of Robert's Rebellion, about one year later, Eddard and his companions find three of the Kingsguard at the Tower of Joy: Lord Commander Ser Gerold Hightower, Ser Oswell Whent, and Ser Arthur Dayne. The reasons for their presence and the ensuing fight are unknown, but defending the unborn son of the Heir Apparent would be a good reason to have been posted. The only known survivors of the fight were Eddard himself and Howland Reed. Eddard recalls his sister dying "in a bed of blood," where he made her an unknown promise just before she died.
Also, while Robb, Sansa, Bran and Rickon are said to have Tully features (hair color, eyes), Jon and Arya are said to be closer in appearance (which had made Sansa believe Arya was also a bastard like Jon, until her mother put Sansa's theory down). Arya is said to resemble Lyanna. In the same line of comparison with his "siblings"; while all their direwolves are described having dark fur, Jon's, Ghost is white - a color oft associated with Targaryen features.
Further evidence to the truth of this theory in the eighth Eddard chapter of A Game of Thrones, in which Ned contemplates the significance of King Robert's bastards. As he muses, Ned's thoughts drift to Jon Snow, a logical segue, but also to his sister Lyanna Stark, the promise he made her, and to Rhaegar Targaryen, implying some tacit link between the three individuals.[4]
Daenerys Targaryen's visions in the House of the Undying include an image of Rhaegar with his newborn son Aegon, proclaiming that "there must be a third" because "the dragon has three heads". Given that, according to Jon Connington, Rhaegar's wife Elia was believed infertile after two difficult pregnancies, and that Aegon the Conqueror himself had two wives, it is logical for Rhaegar to have attempted to fulfill the prophecy by having a third child with another woman. Another of the visions Daenerys sees is the image of a blue winter rose growing from a chink in a wall of ice, filling the air with sweetness. Lyanna was noted by Ned to be fond of winter roses, and he associates them with her death. Jon, who could be the product of Lyanna, is currently at the Wall.
If Rhaegar secretly married Lyanna, it would ironically mean that Jon is not a bastard despite his life having been defined by his believed bastard status to a great extent, and that he is the heir to the Iron Throne after Aegon VI Targaryen (although this last point is rendered moot so long as he belongs to the Night's Watch).
With Eddard beheaded by King Joffrey, Howland Reed is the only living person who knows the nature of Lyanna's death and what she made her brother promise.
Sorry for all the spoilers non book readers this isn't really a spoil but just in case you don't want anything given away possibly for the series.

Rhaenys has silver blonde Targaryen hair like every other Targaryen. At least according to the wiki, because I have no way of keeping track of all these
I don't know if there are any Targaryens who don't have silver blonde hair, even if they're not inbred. If it's Jon Snow, he'd be the first AFAIK.
"The seed is strong" refers to Baratheons IIRC. It's how Stark figured out that all of Cersei's kids were blonde (like Lannisters) and not brown haired (like Baratheons)
Another interpretation of that term is that the father's genetics determine the outcome of the baby, but that invalidates the Jon Snow argument as well.

I'm pretty sure from what I read, Rhaenys had brown hair.
Here is a list of Targaryens that don't look like a typical 'Targaryen'
Jacerys Velaryon - Son of Rhaenyra Targaryen and Laenor Velaryon or Harwin Strong (much more likely). Brown hair and brown eyes.
Lucerys Velaryon - Son of Rhaenyra Targaryen and Laenor Velaryon or Harwin Strong (much more likely). Brown hair and brown eyes.
Joffrey Velaryon - Son of Rhaenyra Targaryen and Laenor Velaryon or Harwin Strong (much more likely). Brown hair and brown eyes.
Elaena Targaryen - Daughter of Aegon III Targaryen and Daenera Velaryon: Platinum white hair with a golden streak, unknown eye colour.
Aegor Rivers - Son of Aegon IV Targaryen and Barbra Bracken: Black hair and purple eyes
Bloodraven - Son of Aegon IV Targaryen and Melissa Blackwood: White hair and red eyes (albinism).
Shiera Seastar - Daughter of Aegon IV Targaryen and Serenei of Lys: Silver-gold hair and one blue eye and one green.
Baelor "Breakspear" Targaryen - Son of Daeron II Targaryen and Myriah Martell: Dark hair and unknown eye colour.
Valarr Targaryen - Son of Baelor Breakspear: Dark hair with "silver-golden drill" and blue eyes.
Daeron Targaryen - Son of Maekar I Targaryen: Sandy brown hair and a blonde beard, unknown eye colour.
Rhaenys Targaryen - Daughter of Rhaegar Targaryen and Elia Martell: Brown hair, unknown eye colour.

OK man you did your research!
So apparently Targaryens can have brown hair, as long as they're in spinoff books and not the main ASOIAF books written by GRRM. So in some way Jon Snow will still be the first if he's a Targaryen

Why so when we have to make a cross reference we say "refer to book thread" ?
If you have read the books, read the spoilers. It's only a click away. If you don't care about being "spoiled" then again it's only a click on a button. Seems like a small thing to nit pick about doesn't it?
