I'm just hoping it comes out on Kobo right away. I prefer my ebook reader.

The last stretch of A Clash of Kings is so captivating I can't take the suspense. Almost finished...just about 100 pgs to go.
The entire book itself has been a great read but....HrRrrnrNnngngggg.... |

No. The show is mostly accurate. They spared a few details and tone but the story is all intact.

I would recommend reading The Game of Thrones just to attain a greater understanding of the story.
The book contains many "deleted scenes"
Also, if you skip the book you miss out on some characters which might be of significance in the future. (Jeyne Poole!!!)
Almost finished reading a Dance With Dragons. This book = crazy

I am almost through the first book. It is taking soooooooo long!!! I wish I could read faster
It is mostly the same as the show from what I can tell. A few very minor details were changed.

Can't...stop...reading.
I really have to start pacing myself 'coz at this pace, I'll get to the latest book in no time...and that means even more waiting.

I'm about half way through A Dance With Dragons and I have to admit that there have been some plot twists in this book that I didn't even see coming. Should make things quite interesting!

I just finished Dance With Dragons (at 3 am this morning actually) and I think it may be my favorite in the series.
GRRM sure as hell better get to writing the next one FAST. I can't wait 10 years to find out what happens to some characters now!
