The actor that plays young Ned is back in episode 10, so yeah, they're holding the TOJ scene till the season finale
If that be the case I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that will be when Bran plugs into the Weirwood in Winterfell. We still have a few episodes for Jon and Sansa to take back Winterfell....

Berz out.
I think that could be the case. The Bastard Bowl is in episode 9, so the season can end with Bran making it back to Winterfell with the help of Benjen, the BoB bomb, Euron/Greyjoys, Dany finally doing something besides a stupid women power speech, Cersei, Riverlands
lol even though these episodes are filmed well in advance and scripts written before that, I can't help but think that D&D/GRRM are the greatest living trolls out there today.
They basically struck down 2 prevailing ideas/theories in one fell swoop.
But what I can't forgive is that damn Arya writing in the past 2 episodes with her. So you're telling me that she just went brain-dead last time we saw her just strolling around without a care in the world only to be explained with, "yup she goofed" ??????

I was hoping that they'd somehow get LSH in when Clegane went to take a piss but instead, we got Clegane pissing on LSH theory.
I died a little bit when I heard Tommen removing trial by combat

feel cersei's pain, bud.
i was hoping we'd see the iron born sweep up the butt of the Masters' navy. i guess i'll also accept drogon burning them down too.
I think the bit with people being upset at Arya's story is justified, but I can understand why it happened. Jaqen knew full well upon taking her in that she'd never forget who she was. she said she wanted to learn how to kill like the faceless men, and she did. played the waif like a trumpet, and to do that she had to bait her into thinking she was someone else - a weaker, more arrogant Arya. pretty sure her smug-ness when she was buying passage onto the ship was the real Arya, knowing what was about to happen.
with all these theories being shot down, i wouldnt be surprised if R+L =/= J
Nah that's iron-clad. Made of bronze.
TOJ scene will be in Ep 10. I'm guessing there's your end scene, or maybe the Freys/Lannisters getting slaughtered in Riverrun but someone/some outlaw group/some army RW-style.
I'm more worried about who's going to kick the bucket next episode. You can bet one of (likely more) Tormund, Davos, Wun Wun (nooooooooooo), Mel, Ghost or Rickon are toast. I wouldn't think Sansa being too safe but as long as LF is around he'll probably keep her safe for grooming.
After watching it again, this last episode was so much more bad than good. Such a disappointment compared to Hardhome last season. Other than what's already been discussed with Arya, Dany's scene as well as most others were a joke. The only good scenes were Jaime's.

What an absolute shit episode.
Spoiler!
Blackfish is a Tully.
Tully words, Family, Duty, Honor. Fuck my family.
Fuck my duty to protect my men.
I'm just going to go die offscreen.
Have you noticed the show runners are just bringing back old characters just to have them killed off to tie up loose ends?
Arya vs T-1000
Bitch, you almost got gutted last episode.
What gods were you praying for to make it back to your little room.
and what makes you think the waif didn't go through the exact blind training as you?
And is more proficient at it?
Dagger wins over rapier in confined space when you have zero precision.
Also. What a fucking cock tease.
also, die offscreen.
And Jaqen just fucking smiles?
If this is end to the faceless men arc, it's been pointless.
No character development.
I chose violence?
How about I choose hype, then 10 seconds of yay.
And then a whole lot of nothing else.
Hound possible redemptive arc....
While a very anti-climatic resolution to last week's building, I'm actually ok with this. At least it's in line with his character (fuck his old ways, fuck the lannisters, fuck the king.)
At least there's some actual character growth here.
Though a super bummer.
Was half hoping he'd end up peeing on lady stoneheart.
