Can someone help me justify the price difference between "Oil Change" and "Winterize Package"?

Nope. The Winterize Package is only provides 4L of mineral oil. Anything else costs extra.

do they do a good job on oil change/maintainence?, my dad wants to get his BMW serviced ( oil change and check up) but the dealer is so fuckin expensive. Has anyone had experience with autohaus?, he babies the car and really doesnt want anything to go wrong.

I like how all the responses are 2 days after the deal is OVER.

I brought my car there to have my oil changed today. Price on Livingsocial was good, but I went more because it was close to a job site.

I thought I'd be pulling up to a lot full of BMWs, but there quite a few older japanese cars there as well.

So far, the oil has drained from my engine yet, so I think I'm good.

Do you know if it was Synthetic or Dino oil that they used?

heleu 12-16-2010 01:46 PM

Dino. Synthetic is extra, depends what you use. They quoted $25 extra to fill up a 2004 BMW X5 3.0L.
