dukoral anybody?

leaving in 2 weeks for dominican republ. seeing how haiti has cholora, it seems safe to take dukoral for it and e.coli poisioning.

has anybody taken dukoral, how much did it cost. any side effects?

I got Dukoral from a local medical clinic and I think it was around $40. Went to Asia for a month (including 2 weeks in Vietnam) and had no issues at all.

I'm going to Thailand in 2 weeks. Just took the first dose yesterday and all is good! I read up on it a bit and less than 1% of people show side effects. If any they are mild and go away with a bit of time. The worst side effects are allergic reactions...

if u have never taken it you need 2 doses which would run you at about $60 or so. no prescription required

just an update,

i didn't take dukoral. we were just smart enought to stay away from mistry meat, raw meat. i didnt have any issues. however should've take allergy pills cause i coundn't sleep on the bed. would wake up with rashes on my cest.
i had 2 beds in the room. but had same issue. gf on the other hand had no problems. :S
