I'm here. Looks like it's going to be pretty small this year with all the Americans canceling due to their budget cuts. With Red Flag Alaska being canceled we were hoping everyone would come to Flag instead as they had already geared up to go, but it seems like everyone everywhere is just staying home this year

It's the Canadian version of Operation Red Flag (see the IMAX movie for more details). Held at CFB Cold Lake, AB.
Damn pilots had me unable to sleep when I was there as a cadet, kept on flying low-level at military power at 2AM in the morning over our barracks.

Well, off to Comox tomorrow morning. Got posted to 442 squadron for 77 days while I do my land/sea survival courses and wait for my Phase II course to start on July 24th. Anybody else working out of that base?
