Just started on Stranger Things...so far so good
Netflix really upping their game on all these originals

Armind 07-18-2016 06:17 PM

Gave Stranger Things a try, not my taste.. =\

Marco Polo's new season is meh.

Stranger Things has that Goonies meets Stands By Me vibe which is fine by me.

Thank you for the recommendation

Not sure if anyone watches Archer but a new season is up.

Hondaracer 07-19-2016 09:42 PM

what VPN are u guys using?

my PIA cant get around netflix anymore... netflix always knows im on a VPN

SkinnyPupp 07-20-2016 06:58 AM

Any commercial VPN will be blocked. If not now, very soon

Ulic Qel-Droma 07-20-2016 12:03 PM

how can these commercial VPN's not be smart enough to figure out a way around this?

how does netflix even detect this stuff

multiple accounts (over 10 etc) using the same IP address = VPN = banned

Is VPN still necessary? The Canadian Netflix library has a lot of content, these days. I honestly don't miss US Netflix.

SkinnyPupp 07-20-2016 07:22 PM

If it's anything like in Hong Kong, it's hardly worth paying $10 a month for. There are just enough shows to make it worthwhile for me.

DragonChi 07-20-2016 08:19 PM

Yes, US netflix, GB netflix, and CO netflix have a pretty big variety of shows that CA doesn't.

since flixed is shutdown, the shittier alternative is, https://www.netflixmovies.com/

Just looked and the top front page list has a bunch of movies I want to see and none of them are on Canadian Netflix. Certainly seems like we're paying the same price for an inferior product.

I was so bored I started watching Nashville...

It helps that Haden whatsherface is so hot and slutty in it.

Nabatron 07-23-2016 09:09 AM

^that's awesome! just started the series and its pretty decent!

better call saul is on Netflix season 1 tho waiting on season 2

SkinnyPupp 07-24-2016 07:52 PM

Weird, HK Netflix had Saul season 2 as it aired each week

I wonder what other shows I get that Canada doesn't... Was Outlander season 2 on there? That's another show I watched as it aired

StylinRed 07-25-2016 04:31 PM

With Netflix going worldwide, a switchable VPN would be great, would love to see local content from Japan or Australia etc etc

DragonChi 07-25-2016 04:47 PM

This couple be a great idea if you know people in other countries willing to share their internets. I haven't tried it, but could be useful for other people here looking for international Netflix access.
