Reminded me of Walking Dead but replace Zombies with Vampires.

Binged the OA.

It's definitely fucked up, and will fuck with you. It's layers on layers on layers of subtle hints that really keep you guessing.

Spoon 12-28-2016 12:09 PM

Watched the OA. Not sure how I feel about it though.

If it doesn't get another season and they let it end the way it did, don't waste time on it. If it gets extended, then definitely watch it, cause the story was pretty well written. :lawl:

punkwax 12-28-2016 12:21 PM

Yep just started OA and would recommend.

Is this actually worth watching?

If you're bored then yeah. I think it's kind of like a not as serious version of walking dead but better than Z nation

RRxtar 01-02-2017 02:57 PM

Watched the OA. Was good. Great concept. The ending left a bunch of questions tho.

The lead acress also was the show creator and lead writer. Shes pretty talented and hot in real life too.

i'd think so. i enjoyed it i was at first expecting it to be more like van helsing the movie but in a current day setting but didn't play out like that.

if there's a season 2 i'll be watching it.

Experimenter.

True story and quite interesting about social psychology and how people could obey leaders even when the task is gruesome (or in this case, painful) and how it relates to WWII and blind obedience.

PiuYi 01-02-2017 09:42 PM

didn't really enjoy the OA... pretty dark series and finished too open ended
also some fairly needless bits throughout that don't add to anything and just clutters things up

EX-R 01-03-2017 09:21 PM

Finished The 100 a few days ago. binged watched all 3 seasons. Definitely gets better and better.

Season 4 starts in Feb!

I remember starting the show and thinking it was some dumb teen drama but it definitely got good half way through season 1.

TouringTeg 01-04-2017 10:43 AM

100 is great. Looking forward to new Season 4.

Caught up on Suits. Too bad 6 episodes are missing from season 5. Amazon Prime Canada has all episodes blocked. Here's hoping they will be released this month.

Stranger Things was a good watch as well.

6o4__boi 01-05-2017 10:06 AM

watched 2 eps of the OA so far

it's pretty captivating...what's with the random half an hour episode in the middle of the season lol

jlo mein 01-05-2017 03:25 PM

Seems like a lot of old 80's/90's films got added. Jurassic Park, Back Go The Future, and more.

guurl 01-08-2017 03:21 AM

just started Black Mirror last night and binged with my friends lol that show really makes you think!!

SkinnyPupp 01-08-2017 07:05 AM

All seasons of Star Trek TNG added PogChamp

Time for my every-5-years-or-so binge

6o4__boi 01-12-2017 08:46 AM

finished the OA

i'd give it a 4/5
does mess with your head a bit but feels incomplete at this point...it's got to have a 2nd season

Anyone seen "The Last Kingdom" yet? Is it any good?

I liked it. But I generally enjoy most things medieval/fantasy based.

Just make sure you head in expecting most of the characters will die though.

604STIG 01-12-2017 10:44 AM

Wifey and I started watching The OA last night. Ended up watching 3 episodes in a row, we're both hooked.

StylinRed 01-13-2017 02:59 PM

I was disappointed with OA by the end, but the voyage to it wasn't bad at all, binged it when it first came out

corollagtSr5 01-14-2017 01:56 PM

So do you think the OA is like the movie, life of pi?

GLOW 01-17-2017 06:51 PM

been watching Club de Cuervos. Fairly entertaining. it's about a mexican football/soccer club. it's all in spanish using mexican actors.
