Meh that's like $0.50 isn't it? No biggie

They better take care though, they are in danger of becoming a passing fad. They got way too popular too fast, and need to do everything just right in order to maintain relevance.

I remember when they first came out and they would mail you the DVD's and you'd send them back and request more. I was like this is dumb, this company isn't going to last.

Neat to see their growth. I used to subscribe and get DVDs in the mail all the time. I thought it was pretty cool.

We just finished the Deep Space Nine series. It's our favorite Star Trek, so far. Onto Voyager!

I'm on season 6 of TNG, for the 10th time or so

Just started DS9 season 2 which will become our main nightly show with Voyager here and there. I really find the Bajoran politics to be kind of boring so I hope it doesn't take over the entire show like the first episodes of S2

Star Trek is pretty much the best thing about Netflix for me

For me Netflix is all about the 4K content. Really the only way to get a lot of true 4K stuff.

Watched the first episode of Gypsy, seems like it'll be interesting. Naomi Watts is already great just one ep in

Edit: Well fuck me

First Get Down, then Sense8, now this show. Seems like every time I get into a show, they cancel it. Netflix is becoming just like FOX. Only I am actually paying to watch these cancelled shows

^ Don't hold your breath on Gypsy. I was left wondering "WTF?????" after a lot of the episodes. It felt like it didn't really go anywhere, especially after the finale. With its cancellation it makes it even worse lol

DS9 gets a lot better, starting with season 3--one of my favourite ST series. Don't want to spoil too much. When the series was on TV, I remember thinking the same thing (first two seasons were sort of "meh okayish"), with each season getting better and better.

Watched the documentary called "Barbeque" last night and it was an excellent watch. Everyone that enjoys BBQing should have a great time watching this.

just finished Defenders:
- interaction between the main characters was awesome
- iron fist still sucks, not sure if its the writing or the actor playing him
- antagonists suck; Sigourney Weaver was such a waste of a character
- last fight/action sequence's setting was way too dark, can't see shit
- etc. aka wasn't that great

overall, DD s2 > DD s1 > Luke Cage > Jessica Jones > Defenders > Iron Fist

Also watched Defenders, killed it in 2 days but it was very meh

- IronFist still sucks hard
- I know they're just going deeper and deeper with that storyline but can't help but feel I just watched the exact same thing with DD Season 1 and 2 + Iron Fist
- Luke Cage, shocked about chi and resurrection? Shit, they're in the MCUwhere there are aliens and heroes like Hulk and Thor and you don't believe Chi and resurrection can be real?
- I know Luke can't just go through people like he's freaking really invincible but he was taking licks pretty easily
