That fbi dude has such weird mannerisms. His posture is very effeminate and his body shape is so oddly proportioned. Very poor casting despite a great show.

Holden? imo he fits the roll perfect as some OCD autism spectrum Inspector/agent
Loving Mindhunter so far, not a show for anyone who cant pay attention to dialogue though lol

the protagonist. I googled him, he's gay. I knew it. There was something off about him - it's like a straight guy acting gay. It's completely off. Compare that to the White Collar guy. Perfectly played.
Just finished The Punisher. Great show and great on it's own without being compared the other Marvel garbage that has been released. I loved everything about it. Characters, script, story, action, twists, etc. Looking forward to season 2.
DS9 gets a lot better, starting with season 3--one of my favourite ST series. Don't want to spoil too much. When the series was on TV, I remember thinking the same thing (first two seasons were sort of "meh okayish"), with each season getting better and better.
Had to give up on DS9. It was just too static with everything taking place on the boring ugly station. Plus I don't give a fuck about Bajoran religious leaders. Even the Cardassians are kind of dull.
Switched to Voyager, and while not as good as TNG of course, at least they are exploring space and going on adventures.

Fuck you are missing out. Season 5-7 Dominion War arc is some of the best Trek....no sci-fi TV ever. The stuff was written in the 90s and foreshadowed the serialization of TV series today. It was definitely ahead of its time.
Skip the rest if you want, but all that Bajoran stuff sets it up for the rest of the seasons' political intrigue esp. the end of the series
It's so dull though, and hardly any of the characters are likeable! Well I'll probably have to go back anyway once I have gone through Voyager (unless I want to give Enterprise a chance first) so we'll see
I believe you guys when you say it was really good, but for me it hasn't been enjoyable at all. That makes me sad
Shitt, are you guys talking about the original Voyager and Deep Space Nine series from years ago that was re-run over and over again on TV? I remember watching random re-runs of these as a kid and had not a flipping clue what was going on, always hoping for some glimpse of a space battle and always disappointed.
No spoilers, but like others have said, later seasons of DS9 are much much better.
But yes, first two seasons were slow and I agree--it was just stuff happening around the station.
Later seasons have aged quite well (IMO), in terms of the depth and development of the characters, and so on. Lots of character dilemmas and other consequences of their decisions that carry through into future episodes.
If you do return to DS9 later on, would be curious to see if your thoughts/opinion on the series changes or not.
DS9 gets much better in later seasons, it's a slag up until that point.
If you get a chance, watch Babylon 5, not sure why this show gets so overlooked. It's by far the best sci-fi show I've ever watched on TV. Story is fantastic.
