I just finished Sex Education. It was very witty and fresh with their British accents. Very well done with their highschool stereotype peer pressure drama. Too bad only 8 episodes and now I'll have to wait till late 2019-2020 for season 2

Also watched Lucifer. Decent show. Good thing is that it doesn't require a lot of thinking. A Bonus about the show is that it's filmed in Vancouver, so you will recognize some of the landmarks.

I just finished Lucifer. The last two "episodes" of Season 3 threw me off, and then I read that the 3rd from last was the actual finale, and the others were bonus episodes released. Glad Netflix picked it up after Fox cancelled it.

The Ballad of Buster scrugg.

10/10

Wow. Incredible movie. I think it’s being nominated for an Oscar.
You have to sit through the first few minutes of WTF. Then it gets really good. I enjoy all of the short stories. Although I still can’t quite grasp the last one.

Yea I thoroughly enjoyed. Good cinematography, great setting. Interesting stories.

Granted I was stoned when I watch this, one day I will try it again sober to see if I change my mind.

The story with the armless legless sideshow freak was my favourite. Very dark story.

10/10

What a crazy, twisted yet thrilling movie....

I binged the whole Grimm series on Netflix. Pretty good. Only available outside Canada (I used UK VPN).

It's an adaptation of Grimm Brothers with monsters and mythology.

Came here to recommend that show. Really good, even my wife is watching it. Hopefully when they do the 2019 season they will show more of the race calendar. Seems so far this season is focusing on 6-8 races

If you're a religious F1 fan like me, that show was sort of disappointing. It didn't really tell me anything I didn't already know, and kind of overblew some of the "conflicts" for dramatic effect, and even misrepresented some things.

Like that scene where after Grosjean crashes out, he pushes the cameraman out of the way like he's all pissed off at the cameraman for being in his face. But really what happened was that the cameraman was about to walk backwards into force india's pit box booms.

But the production quality is pretty good other than the fake dubbing of old V8 engine noises in some scenes.

Just finished the F1 documentary yesterday. I'm glad they made the focus mostly on the mid field and not so much on the top teams.

If anything, I'm surprised there's barely any coverage on Bottas. It's like he vanished from F1.

Nice I was thinking about getting back into F1 again this season, I suppose that documentary will be a good way to catch up with the storylines

I could definitely see how for a fan it's all old news. But I think the aim behind the series was to just bring attention and more fans to the sport. For me, I liked it. Never been a big f1 fan but after watching it i'm going to keep up with the 2019 season, so from a marketing perspective it did its job haha.

Ferrari and Mercedes refused to take part in the series, that's why they're not in there

Love Death + Robots

8/10

this is very much a digital animation on the level of modern video games, and kind of the animatrix but done way better......many different mini stories...i skipped one cause it was just stupid like a newgrounds animation poorly done..it was called "alternate history"...the rest are fine..

triple frontier - 8/10 good action flick

thought it was wayy to easy for them to take the objective considering this guy was supposed to be a big boss

Been watching F1: Drive to Survive, and love the drama between Horner/Abiteboul. What a pair of shit talkers.

Triple Frontier was quite good! I always like a heist movie, and this one had some beautiful scenery in 4K HDR, cool battle scenes. And Ben Affleck of all people was really good here, as his character progressed throughout the movie. The rest of the cast was good too.

Highly recommended as a light lounge-at-home-lets-check-out-a-movie viewing.

Does anyone on here watch Doom Patrol? I started watching it a couple weeks ago... I didn't know anything about it, never read many comics as a kid and I even thought maybe it was about the old computer game before I started the first episode lol... and now I found out it's a spinoff from another show called Titans... but anyway I am really enjoying it. I love Brendan Fraser's take on the robot and the way they do the narration making fun of themselves, etc. It's a very creative take on the superhero genre.

Highly recommend it even if you're tired of superhero shows. It's dark humor, not overly violent... gets very poignant at times too... and just fresh ideas! I mean, where else can you see a show where a guy misusing his superpower can make every orgasm around him? lolol
