Well Black Mirror was awesome because they tapped into what was already happening in the world to an extent, and then extrapolated it into something pretty fucked up.
The new season, for lack of a better way of putting it, isn't fucked up at all. Just shitty stories.
watched season 2 of the OA. because i watched season 1. Is this based off of a book or story or something or are the craters just dropping acid and writing a story?
As weird and occasionally cringy as it is, its a cool concept.
S3 doesn't seem any worse than the other seasons, especially S2.. It was never well written, just kitschy and nostalgic... Pure popcorn b-movie style horror. Granted I'm only 2 episodes in...

Give it another episode or two when everything is going to shit and they’re more concerned with their own petty bullshit than focusing on staying alive.
Stranger Things was good but the dialog feels a bit forced. Puberty era for the kids is annoying. Story line was good though. Good action and whatnot. Living up to the hype although now that it's not a new and original premise I feel it's lost a bit of the magic. Still good though and worth the watch. Nostalgia is on point.
Been watching Fresh Prince on Netflix. I remember being at the playground the day it premiered, and someone goes "it's almost 7 o'clock, Fresh Prince is about to start!" and we ran home to watch it. Like the first episode was a huge event lol.
Man the show COMPLETELY holds up 30 years later. I am laughing my ass off constantly.

Saw someone in this thread recommend Dark... started watching that last night, it's all in German so be aware if you decide to watch it that you'll be doing subtitles... kind of similar to Stranger Things, except in small town Germany instead of USA... and not humorous or light-hearted or nostalgic at all, much more tense and, well, darker. I'm not far into it yet but seems like deja-vu and history/time repeating itself are a big theme.
