Initially watched the naked director for the nudity but surprisingly good series.

dave chappelle: Sticks & Stones...

pretty funny, his Micheal Jackson jokes were so fucked up but i laughed at disgust.

nabs 08-27-2019 10:54 AM

^^^^
I cracked up laughing on the train home... Probably not a good idea to watch in a public setting, it had me holding my stomach. Only one part was questionable to me, but it was just a personal belief of mine, that I didn't find funny.

Chappelle is a king of comedy. I liked this better than his last one.

Watched Chappelle last night with the wife who usually doesn’t enjoy stand up that much and we both had a few good laughs.

Damned shame some camera man ruined the Chappelle show for the rest of us..

American Factory
A doc about a Chinese company opening a glass factory in the US with Chinese and American workers. Surprised how much access the filmmakers got. Really good at showing all sides.

The Clapper

Good watch kept my attention the whole way through. Decent cameos but the ending felt rushed to me. Overall solid watch though 7/10

SkinnyPupp 09-16-2019 06:23 PM

Bill Burr special.. first half was cringey as fuck and not funny, but the second half was hilarious

Man the show COMPLETELY holds up 30 years later. I am laughing my ass off constantly.

OK season 2 has some jokes that didn't age so well... There's a lot more gay jokes - nothing really malicious mind you, more like "haha gay people exist lololol". It's pretty much the exact opposite of how the topic was handled on Roseanne. Also Uncle Phil fat jokes are kind of cringe inducing considering how James Avery died of a heart attack (though he did last until his 70's)

Decent documentary and it's reality of how east and west clashes.

GM shutdown, workers had unions, making 24 dollars an hr, now after years of no jobs in a town of 4000 workers being employed by Fuyao, glass manufacturing company comes in and revives the town. Now these people make 12.75 (then bumped to 13.75). Not saying it's right or wrong, juts reality of businesses.

Stories about respect, union fights, social pressures, politics (there is a senator that was such a douche bag at his speech) to seeing people who are laid off.

All in all, the key take away is the differences between 2 worlds: Westerns are about safety and balance, East is about, how do we work faster and hit our #s even if I have to do overtime.

Asians see Westerners as lazy and didn't respect them, then realize they work 2 side jobs. Americans thought Asians are crazy and stupid and realize they had to come to US for 2 yrs min with no extra pay and misses their family overseas.

Wasn't the best documentary but because I'm chinese working in a Western world / western company. I respect both sides.

PS. Film was distributed by Obama's company

So "the fastest car" season 2 is out and uhhh :okay:

Pretty cliche format of going through each drivers back story for 40 mins then 30 secs of racing.

Spoiler!

I enjoyed it, just watch the last 10-15 min when they finally meet up. Gives enough time to throw some guesses on whos gonna win.
Could be a drinking game with some buds lol

If you love comedy, this is the movie for you. I had a great time watching it from beginning to end.
My god, how does Jennifer Aniston keeps her look so young and beautiful!

Mr.Money 10-10-2019 12:49 PM

el camino is popping off tonight midnight.
FeelsGoodMan

WutFace i'm mentally preparing myself in case some fucked up gangster shit happens like "Breaking Bad".

Tim Budong 10-13-2019 07:34 PM

that is a fitting end for Jesse
I enjoyed the El Caminio

Slifer 10-13-2019 09:43 PM

I thought it was a little underwhelming.

Vansterdam 10-14-2019 06:34 AM

El Camino was alright I guess.. was hoping for more lol

Mr.Money 10-14-2019 07:15 AM

i think "Breaking bad" set a high level and everyone was expecting to reach that with this series in a short amount of time...it was okay.

its mostly for people who want closure,i was pretty much okay with Jesse breaking from the gate and that's it.

the "Guest" appearances saved it,I love that going back in time part when to how it was...

nabs 10-15-2019 08:26 AM

El Camino...

I don't know what to say, I expected to LOVE it, which was probably the wrong thing to do. It was OKAY to say the least.

It’s not on Netflix, but if you have Amazon Prime then season 2 of Jack Ryan is awesome

Manic! 11-02-2019 01:22 PM

Watched it yesterday. The movie is hilarious.

I'm three episodes into S2. I'm glad the got him out in the field more so far. Every time I'm season one when they had Jack in the office behind a desk, all I could see was Jim Halpert at the CIA.

fliptuner 11-23-2019 03:54 PM

Looking forward to The Irishman, next week.
3.5 hours though. Damn.

threezero 11-26-2019 07:07 PM

probably not the TV show for the RS crowd lol.

Just finish watching all 3 seasons of The Crown.

Incredible production and an incredible cast. Didn't really care for he British royalty and now I'm utterly fascinated by them.

Each episode is suppose to represent a decade and cover some significant historical events. Season 4 is going to introduce princess Diana. Cant wait to see how the series portray her life and her death
