When his friends make peace with their own deaths and they're all reminiscing about their times together up to the point he literally watches Karube die... might have affected me more cuz one of my best friends from childhood died last summer
Spoiler!
I figured you were referencing that scene. However they died so early that I didn't really get a true sentimental attachment to them. But yes as I said this show has been fast and furious, on the edge of my seat the whole time
Off-Topic Naruto spoiler
Spoiler!
When Itachi died that was a super tearjerker for me, cuz it was a long ass build-up, how he was doing all these things to protect what he believed in, his home, his brother, and in the end died tapping his brothers forehead like he used to when they were young... damn goosebumps just thinking about it again
Just finished Alice, man what a ride! Most intense show I've seen in a while, I was glued.
Damn we have to wait until January 2022 at the earliest for S2!
Sonick is a genius. I won't go into detail what's so great about his post. But it's damn good!

Anyone else watching Superstore right now or just me? Already hitting season 3
Started it randomly last week? (maybe not randomly because Netflix algorithm is so damned honed in to my preferences now), and looks like its No.1 in Canada all of a sudden now. Fun show, doesn't take itself too seriously. Its a nice change of scenery from all the seriousness of the world. Recommend.
i watched Battle Royale years ago and own it on blu-ray so nothing really felt like a new idea in film making *even the fucking exploding necklaces were copied* , i just like they didn't make it too much of a B-grade film with the realistic weapons, Some of the actors roles were cliche as hell but i guess its based off a book *i'm talking about you cheesy ass tattoo face'd guy and stud face guy. *, the story was predictable near the end than of course what every movie studio tries doing is "Dragging it on" for the next line up.
Wife and I started watching Dead to Me. Didn't think I would like it, but really interesting with a lot of twists and turns. Finished Season 1 on the weekend, but don't have a lot of time to watch since the Canucks basically play every night :P

Lame title and only 50% on rotten tomatoes but was actual really solid. 95% of Google user reviews liked it.
Thought was just a Korean movie but was actually very diverse in casting.

Just finished this one. Was a decent watch, definitely something a little different for a Korean movie. Punched a bit above its weight. Gotta turn off the brain a bit with some unexplained plot holes here and there. Nothing major but would have liked to have some of the world fleshed out a bit more.
Oh, and the casting. The non-Koreans kind of remind me of foreign English teachers acting in a school play. I was semi-prepared for this since it's filmed in Korea after all and who else you gonna cast
