The Alpinist is particularly interesting as it's close to home.

14 peaks was awesome. that guy and his buddies are machines

Can't wait for S5!

For some reason I thought this would be the last season since the story's been dragging on. Now, I don't think they'll end it until they bring back every actor associated with the Karate Kid series. :rukidding:

I felt like this was one of the best seasons yet, if you think it was dragging on it might not be your show anymore.

I think the only people that are really left is Mike Barnes and Julie from the Next Karate Kid if they really want to extend it a couple more seasons.

If it gets to the point where Jaden Smith makes the show then I'm probably out lol

CivicBlues 01-12-2022 09:36 AM

Well, Will Smith is an Executive Producer on Cobra Kai

Great68 01-12-2022 10:15 AM

Lol, my parents (nearing 70) got into and are binging Cobra Kai.

It is a well written show.

PiuYi 01-14-2022 09:07 PM

Death to 2021

- funnier than expected (also a good recap on wtf happened last year cuz I don't even know anymore)

I wonder where they will go from here based on how season 4 ended.

I don't think Jaden and Jackie will be making an appearance. They're from a rebooted universe so they basically don't exist. This isn't MCU, lol.
At least when they did an interview, Ralph said he can't see those 2 character fitting with the show.

I'm still enjoying this series a lot. It's too bad this show takes a year to come out, but it's only 30 min eps and you can binge through the entire season in 1-2 days, lol.

Mr.Money 01-15-2022 01:32 PM

if you're a fan you saw this already..

dat good shit.

AzNightmare 01-15-2022 01:57 PM

^ I finished season 1 during the winter break. I was kind of lukewarm about it.
It was good enough for me to finish, but there were times in the middle of the show where I was getting bored.

I'm not sure if it gets better or not, so I just kind of left it on the shelf for now.

SkinnyPupp 01-15-2022 03:38 PM

Ozark is so fucking good but I felt like it was kind of falling apart by season 3.. I will still watch S4 but don't have high expectations for it

It's possible that those feelings of no cohesion come from there being so much time between seasons

blkgsr 01-17-2022 07:48 AM

anyone watch Wheel of Time on Prime? I was skeptical at first but my wife wanted to watch it and i thought it was pretty good

just finished the last season of Goliath too. the flashback/mind trips were a weird and confusing the last couple seasons but good show.

nabs 01-17-2022 08:17 AM

Anyone watch Clickbait? I started it a while ago, but rewatched it this last weekend. I thought it was pretty good.

another whodunit... I know what you did last summer (on Prime). Don't think of it like a continuation of the IKWYDLS story stream, think of it as a new show, it does get fairly cringey at times but it was worth a watch if you're into the whodunit genre.

MarkyMark 01-17-2022 05:00 PM

Not on Netflix but watched the first 3 episodes of Peacemaker and it's been good so far, really like John Cena in this role

Vansterdam 01-17-2022 06:49 PM

Peacemaker is legit lol

came here to say the same

white rocket 01-21-2022 06:54 AM

Yellowjackets 9.3/10
Yellowstone 8.7/10
Dexter New Blood 7/10
Succession 9/10

Euphoria 100/10 - and only two episodes into S2

snowball 01-21-2022 03:34 PM

I will finish Ozark season 4, but it's definitely a dollar store version of Breaking Bad

Presto 01-22-2022 12:41 PM

Midnight Asia

Watched the first one with Tokyo, and it was amazing. Look forward to the rest!

68style 01-22-2022 03:09 PM

Thanks just started watching. My only gripe against the Japan episode is the izakaya and Lamborghini guy has been featured on many videos already so those 2 parts felt like I was watching it for the 5th time and finding out nothing new. Still enjoyed the episode nine the less and just makes me want to go back to Japan even more if that's even possible.

68style 01-26-2022 06:54 AM

I felt the same way about the Japan one… the guy with the little liquor tasting stand made up for it in my eyes though, I loved that concept and his calm energy.

I have to say watching the other episodes though the show is kind of weak. I like the music scene bits in Korea but somehow everything comes off a bit flat or maybe they didn’t pick people that have a lot of energy? How do you make an episode on Thailand nightlife boring haha… I haven’t seen Taipei or Manila yet but after watching 4 I wasn’t feeling it anymore…

mikemhg 01-26-2022 11:17 AM

Manilla episode was terrible.

Fucking amateur wrestling to highlight Manilla nightlife? Get the fuck outta here :lol

SkinnyPupp 01-26-2022 02:44 PM

I was gonna say, maybe Manilla episode is good? I know a wrestler who was featured on the show, but I haven't watched it yet so I don't know what the show ended up like or how much she was on for. :alone:

68style 01-26-2022 03:16 PM

I can see where they’re trying to not do the traditional night club bar scene thing so I don’t mind a weird featurette, gonna have to check it out and see. I mean a night time running group in Korea wasn’t “cool” either haha but something a bit different than drinking and fucking I guess.

Everyone I talked to said the Japan one was best so I don’t have high hopes.
