i didn't think it was that epic but maybe they wanted to keep it PG13?
i watched it since we couldn't travel but it was not WOW, i didn't know that type feeling.
I was gonna say, maybe Manilla episode is good? I know a wrestler who was featured on the show, but I haven't watched it yet so I don't know what the show ended up like or how much she was on for.
Only India episode left but not hopeful this will be a strong finish for me. Manila episode was it just me or was the free style brutally terrible. I've heard hip hop/free styling/ rap whatever in many languages without understanding a single word and in more cases than not at least it sounds good. Bit this sounded absolutely terrible, even worse than canto rap which is saying something.

Peacemaker is REALLY FUCKING GOOD. Funniest show I've seen in forever. I am just laughing non stop. Every single character is hilarious in their own way.
I went in without any real expectation, but it turned out to be a good mix of drama, action, humour, and suspense. There is one flaw in the end that I didn't like, but other than that, I actually enjoyed the whole thing quite a bit.
^ Funny how that works... I think it was S2 of Mr. Robot that I was like... fuck this show went to complete shit, what the hell is going on... almost stopped watching... and then like 4-ish episodes in suddenly it all clicked and everything tied itself together and realized how important the things that had happened earlier in the season was... quite satisfying in the payoff if for no other reason than the risk the writers were taking pushing the viewer's patience like that.

You can tell the director wanted the two seasons to have totally different feels, right down to the title card itself. But the first few eps of this season have been hit or miss with the writing and direction.. One ep had several fantasy scenes for each character and it was pretty bad. Lots of nice cinematography, but they focus on that way too long, with extended scenes of just cinematography circle jerk
Currently watching Korean "The Silent Sea" on Netflix. Production value seems to be pretty good and it gives me the Event Horizon vibes
Good luck with it. Couldn't make it past the first few episodes despite the stacked cast. Massive common-sense/plot holes and things happening just for the sake of moving the plot

We finished watching and it originally had premise, but in typical K fashion got overdramatized for no reason near the end

Totally agree. That tank though? Holy fuck, it looks like a Command and Conquer AVI clip from the Windows 95 game.
It's weird, this show was really good in the first season, this second season is like a completely different show.
I'll stay on board for now, but the show has really went down in quality from last season.
Apparently Ridley Scott only directly 2 episodes of Season 1 (the best ones) and is only an executive producer on the show.
Haha, totally. Now that I got through both episodes I feel that the shitty CGI was almost intentional to create a vibe. Sounds dumb but I highly doubt a show at this level is making those judgement calls based on budget constraints. I dunno, it's so bad at times that I feel it has to be purposeful and then other times it all looks good and as it should. The inconsistency is odd. I'm still diggin' the acting and story enough to see how everything pans out. There are some societal similarities that I enjoy as well.
I started watching Euphoria last night... first episode... I mean, I can see how it's a powerful show but it's fucking depressing how people treat each other. I don't know if I can get past how nihilistic it is.

I remember feeling the same way after the first episode.. And while you see the worst in everyone throughout the series, it's still captivating... Give it a few more eps, if you don't like it after 3 I'd say just bail. If not, enjoy the ride, it's a crazy one
I binged the first season in like 3 days and I NEVER do that
