Great show, really recommend it. It's mind blowing how good the casting was on this show, it's crazy how well both actors played into their characters of Pam and Tommy.

that chick who played Pam is smoking lol

SkinnyPupp 04-26-2022 08:06 PM

I went from the Wu Tang drama straight to the documentary by Showtime "of Mics and Men". Pretty cool to watch it this way with all the context filled out. Lots of great early 90's footage

Yeah reviews weren't great but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great acting and T&A.

I was gonna skip it based on the reviews too until a buddy of mine told me it was great.

I really need to stop trusting IMDB/Rotten Tomatoes, I've probably passed on so many good shows and movies based on a few shit reviews.

Show was easily one of my favorites of this year.

blkgsr 04-27-2022 12:51 PM

is it on Netflix?

It's on Disney+ in Canada, which is hilarious in and of itself.

Anyone watched the second half of S4 of Ozark? Also the end of the series completely...

I enjoyed the ride, but there were quite a few unexplained character interactions that didn't make sense... the story got so complicated it was hard for them to keep everything in check and consider every possible plot point I guess. Pretty cool to see the lady from Queen of the South (another great drug cartel show minus the very first totally shit episode) in Ozark and a neat cameo in Ep.8 if you're into music haha

The ending fell a little bit flat for me, I didn't feel as bothered as I should have by what happened. Maybe because it felt inevitable? Or wasn't set up with enough drama I'm not sure.

Wendy sure is a piece of shit though, wow.

ya started watching it....can't say i think it's a great show but decent enough

pam's casting is ok. you can really tell she's covering the english accent

not a fan of tommy's casting. he annoys me

68style 05-03-2022 10:44 AM

^ He's the Winter Soldier tho!

I think he's supposed to piss you off... so it's working? lol

blkgsr 05-03-2022 12:07 PM

i understand who tommy is (MGK did a better job in The Dirt)

it's an annoyance vs character "hate"

SkinnyPupp 05-27-2022 03:21 PM

I liked Obi Wan so far.. I think?

The setting.. Please no more Tatooine! I hope once he leaves we won't see it much until the end (doubt it if he has to interact with Owen)

Really cool to see Alderaan

Leia was cute and funny

The CGI is getting worse and worse in these shows.. Some of it looked like Episode 1 stuff. I really hope it's not on purpose!

Opening was really cool. I just hope we get a lot of light saber battles.

Traum 05-27-2022 03:40 PM

IMO Little Leia totally stole the show -- she is my fav character so far in both episodes.

Obi-Wan... where do I even begin?

I've read some of the pre-release interviews, and Ewan McGregor was saying how Obi-Wan was a broken man at that point in life. I want to like Obi-Wan, but so far, I can't. For the time being, I also can't see how he will transform from his current state at least into the version that you see in SW Rebels.

The Grand Inquisitor was a major disappointment. I knew that before the premiere.

Are they gonna do an Ahsoka cameo in Obi-Wan? I hope they will. I'd also prefer seeing her playing a small but important part like she did in both seasons of the Mandalorian. Based on both the SW timeline, as well as the Disney+ timeline where Ahsoka's own show is set to happen, it would make sense for her to show up in Obi-Wan.

SkinnyPupp 05-27-2022 04:10 PM

There are two episodes?? We only watched one! LOL

punkwax 05-27-2022 04:51 PM

Watched Jackass 4.5 on Netflix last night. Seemed like a potential changing of the guard with fresh new faces to damage, legacy cast interviews etc. Lotsa male nudity so if that’s your or your s/o’s thing check it out :lol

Traum 05-27-2022 04:53 PM

Yeah man! 2 episodes were released right off the bat, and Little Leia was the best part in both of them!

underscore 05-27-2022 11:03 PM

I went to watch the intro to the first episode of Shoresy and ended up watching the whole thing. I didn't know how they'd make a whole show around him but so far it seems to work.

The music is awesome as per usual too.

blkgsr 05-30-2022 01:29 PM

what's Shoresy on?

68style 05-30-2022 02:17 PM

Crave/Hulu

Was a decent ending actually I thought, kind of the antithesis of the series

Only person I wanted to die and didn’t was Jonah lol

SkinnyPupp 05-30-2022 10:39 PM

I thought Ozark finished... fine. Not great, not awful.. Just fine and that's actually good compared to most shows :D

Great68 05-31-2022 08:16 AM

I had a really hard time getting into and through the last season of Ozark. I just found it boring really, a bit of a slog.

Having such a long time between seasons sucks, had a hard time remembering what even happened last season.

I'm really glad they did this and tied it so nicely to the original Trilogy. Thank god I don't have to learn another storyline that I know nothing about and just enjoy the show.

fsy82 06-01-2022 03:35 PM

Anyone watch the new episodes of Stranger Things. Definitely going full circle here with the storyline
