| Best frequency for FM transmitter locally?
Any recomendations on which fm frequency to use with an fm transmitter, the so called clear find thing built into the transmitter chooses stations with other signals on them already Posted via RS Mobile |

im on 88.9 to, tend to cut out in kits area, surrey and langley it also gets random US stations
wish there was a better one

88.1 / 88.5 seem to work for me vancouver / surrey / richmond.
occasional interuptions but its nothing frustrating.

this thread should be called fm frequencies to avoid in certain areas
feels counter-intuitive to tell people which frequencies are good, when you're trying to avoid having people using the same ones

^ true, but there can potentially be a lot of people viewing this thread, and as such, there may be many interferences down the road.

If you can actually get into "International Mode" you can force the transmitter to broadcast at 87.0-88.0 frequencies. They are guaranteed non working since they aren't registered with the FCC.

88.7 works well for me, 88.9 interferes with cbc radio for me

99.7 worked pretty good for me. Theres a some feedback though from nearer stations causes some mild disturbance haha but thats only on certain times

there should be a setting for the FM transmitter to find it's best setting...use that...before mine got stolen...90.3

which brand/model of fm transmitters do you guys find is the best ones?
any reviews with the "clearscan" button as with Belkin transmitters? (or similar features of other brands?)
what about the $150 futureshop monster fm transmitter? does it work best with least interference?
