Mulholland Drive is a road in Los Angeles, California, United States, named after engineer William Mulholland. A portion of it is also called Mulholland Highway.

The mostly two-lane, minor arterial road loosely follows the ridgeline of the Santa Monica Mountains and the Hollywood Hills, connecting two sections of U.S. Route 101, and crossing Sepulveda Boulevard, Beverly Glen Boulevard, Coldwater Canyon, Laurel Canyon Boulevard, Nichols Canyon Road and Outpost Drive. It offers views of both the Los Angeles basin and the San Fernando Valley.

The eastern terminus of Mulholland Drive is at its intersection with Cahuenga Boulevard at the Cahuenga Pass over the Santa Monica Mountains (at this point Cahuenga Boulevard runs parallel to the 101). The road continues to the west offering vistas of the Hollywood Sign, downtown Los Angeles and then Burbank, Universal City and the rest of the San Fernando Valley.

Niceeeeee I'm heading to LA in a couple days and definitely going to try out that road  minus the dangerous driving and not going to be in a lambo of course :alone:

We have roads much better than that here, you just need to know where they are.

What makes Mulholland famous is the history, now its just a cool road, but in its day it was a legendary race course.

Hmmm I just drove on Mulholland drive. It was fun but dangerous and full of potholes. 50-60km is the max you can go... feeling safe.

Can anyone verify that big turn is Mulholland drive though? Either I went through it but didn't recognize it or it's part of another street. I went through the whole road from West to East, upload some pics later. :)

looks like a nice road to cruise on but I'd be afraid of some jackass in his exotic smashing into me when they cross the center line

Sorry to bump this thread. I got a chance to drive on Mulholland Drive from West to East early this January, it was fun but very dangerous. Lots of potholes, minimal railing, people driving in oncoming lanes.

Hwy 99 past Pemberton (all the way to Cache Creek) is twisty like that too, with very sharp hairpins at some point. Very exhilarating drive. I would not recommend any lowered cars there though, theres a section thats paved, then halfway through a hairpin, it just becomes gravel. Quite wtf.
