SGS Captivate is now froyo, finally. Not sure about the Desire Z.


As for the hinge. Just walk into your local futureshop or best buy.
Almost every Desire Z I have seen is broken. To me, that's a very good test of durablity.
Compared to the other slides and flips that have been abused, it seems that the Desire Z has an abnormally high rate of broken demo models.


I use a fairly low profile TPU case on my SGS Captivate, but even then, it does take a lot away from how thin the phone feels.
But it also makes it feel totally rugged.

DZ came stock with froyo.

As for demo phones with broken hinges, not surprised. They are after all, demo phones, ppl treat them like shit cause its not theirs.
