word. I just hope that taking the vitamin can maybe get rid of the slight anxiety I was having for the past 2 weeks.

SkinnyPupp 06-03-2012 12:42 AM

Aniracetam can help with anxiety. Oxiracetam actually stimulates a bit, so might not be a good idea outside the gym. Bacopa is also supposed to be anxiolytic. I take it for brain flow. This stuff is all cheap if you buy in powder form. Cap them yourself with a Cap-m-Quick.

Ani and oxi can be taken in a drink, Bacopa is extremely bitter

Best thing for well being and mood imo is 5HTP. Taken 2 hours before bed each night, it really makes you feel great. Absolutely not a good idea to take with medicine though.

Meowjin 06-03-2012 12:53 AM

I think my anxiety I've been having is either from

a) not taking my dosages properly (i usually take 30mg of an SR in the morning, and a 5mg IR in the afternoon. For now I want to try 20mg in the morning, and eat and workout, then after do the other 20 (about 4 hours later). I'm thinking that its coming off all at once that is causing it.

b) Because of my diet, I'm missing some essential vitamins and nutrients. So that's why I was pretty adament about getting a multi vitamn.

I honestly think you don't eat enough for a sedentary lifestyle let alone working out hard. Rapid weight loss is almost always a bad thing, even when weight loss is the goal

I've increased the calories accordingly, since i've been pretty hungry lately.

Got mine from advantage supplements. Google it.

Got craze, super pump max, and a 5pound isoflex protein for $150cdn

Meowjin 06-03-2012 05:53 PM

Am I the only one that thinks its silly to spend that much on supp for pre-workout?

What's wrong with just popping a caffeine pill before you workout?

to each their own right ? and you cant compare a pre-supp with a caff pill..cus a pre-workout doesnt have JUST caffeine lol soo..dont compare apples and oranges. And i rather spend 50$ on a month worht of supp then 50$ on mcdonalds lol

You are right. Read the breakdowns of a few of them I did a few pages back. Pre workouts really are just caffeine and a few other things. Craze is different though since it contains a pre-amphetamine (that isn't listed on the label).

$45 at McDonalds and $5 on a bottle of caffeine pills would be much more beneficial to you than $50 on a pre-workout supplement.

pre - amphetamine = ephidrine.

Even cheaper.

The only reason why I had so many pre-sups is my brother diversified his business, and opened up a supp store, and when he shut it down, he gave me like 6 tubs of protein and all these products with stupid names like WAR and XTREME SUPER DUPER PUMP.

SkinnyPupp 06-03-2012 06:47 PM

Yes the names are hilarious, and should be a giveaway to how goofy these products are. I got some samples I'll never use called "ARSON EXPLOSION STIX"

And then there's this one that is hilarious if you read the label.. it's called THE CURSE and on the directions it says "Prickly skin confirms successful DNA mutation."

:seriously:

hi guys, quick question

just got my MP assault, had half scoop for the first time. I had tried One More Rep sample before, it made me heart beat pretty fast and sweat a lot, and no performance gain in the gym, as a matter of fact, I lifted less with One More Rep. So this time with Assault, i almost had the same experience, I sweat more, jitters a little bit, legs was shaky, and i actually benched less than usual. I took Assault about 25 min before workout.

So my questions, does that mean my body might not be good with pre-workout sup? Or should I try few more times? Maybe 40 min or 1 hour before workout?

Any input is greatly appreciated !

It means you are sensitive to stimulants

I recently discovered a creatine in the form of pills. Purple-K

Popeye'sŪ Supplements Canada ~ Fusion PURPLE•K - 130 Capsules

Apparently it is a buffered creatine that contains kre-alkalyn and helps to prevent the creatine from breaking down in liquids like stomach acid..

The link explains more in depth to the theory behind this product.

Thoughts?

There is no reason to use anything other than creatine mono. It's proven. Things like "breaking down in liquids like stomach acids" is made up bullshit to make you want to buy something else. Obviously if that was a big issue with mono, it wouldn't work.

hal0g0dv2 06-04-2012 08:57 PM

Mono set and done
Cheapest and best cant beat it. Company's bull shit Creatine all the time.

If u r buying Creatine in pills or fancy words it's garbage

kevin7352 06-04-2012 09:03 PM

what about CreaPure mono vs normal mono

instantneedles 06-04-2012 09:33 PM

yeah that's what i thought...

For me it's like 5% more expensive, but you know you're getting good stuff, so I buy it. The brand I get is Universal

Do you know the science behind how creatine is used in our body from the moment we ingest it to the moment it is utilized by our muscles?

Because if i knew the process, itd be alot easier for me to distinguish between what actually takes an effect on creatine absorption and what doesn't...
