i wonder if you'd stfu if one shows a pic of their improbable sports car
obviously the cars that are going to be able to match up aren't COMMON. after all, your car is NOT common..
for fucks sakes this ranking system now composes of: FASTEST CAR ON RS... BUT must be STOCK, less then 70k with the exception of marco911's unbeatable porches, have to be common daily drivers, but still a sports car! i lose!

Do you run 10s in the 1/4? No? Then STFU you have a slow car.

| This is what I have been arguing all along. The other posters are trying to say that cars that are faster are common place.

Something is lost the moment you engineer a car to be a capable all round daily driver. I think you'll agree that the C4S is a better daily driver than the cars you posted.

I think it is fair to say that you have a fast car if you are at or above the 95th percentile. I would conjecture that would be anything below 15 seconds.

My point is Porsche has come up with much better cars with rwd layout than AWD, 959 an example.
Not all Porsches were obviously made for daily driving. And honestly, I fail to see the point of having awd over rwd in daily commute unless it's snowing. It's good for launch but life is much more fun in a rwd Porsche.

Oh Marco | What does "denial and changing the point" have anything to do with poseurism? Your argument is a complete non-sequitur and thus invalid.

It had the most advanced AWD system of a production car at the time.

Alright Marco, let's do this. You and me, you just bring your 911 to a place of my choosing, I'll bring my own vehicle and a camera crew to record your Porsche getting absolutely destroyed... you know, for posterity's sake! |

If you like to drive fairly aggressively just passing cars, it's really quite nice having AWD when in a rush, knowing that your hard acceleration is not going to cause you an unpredictable delay when the traction control kicks in.
This may not be a big issue with the rear biased 911 but is particularly bad with front engine AMG when in the wet, a weather condition which we do see here in Vancouver all the time.
I actually find it easier to get from point a to point b most quickly in a E550 4matic than the E55 or E63. Of course, on the highway without the traction issue, it's a completely different story.

75 horsepower (well, it was, but it's got a hotter cam and a shaved head, so maybe 85 if I'm lucky)
0-60: MILES PER HOUR!?
1/4 Mile: Any, all taken at the same speed, regardless of condition.

Sporty car? not "sports car" Isn't it sad when a sporty car can beat a outright sports car?
Sorry but this thread is about Who has faster car right? and you asked for 0-60 and the 1/4 time.
Why are you bringing up the "but the game changes once you add corners" Shut the fuck up. You are the one who said 0-60 and 1/4 time just because you get your ass handed to you by cars which are far superior than yours you have to go and make up other excuses.
Also I am stating as experience that these cars I see on the road are extremely common.
Would you like me to go photograph what kind of cars I see everyday?
Just go to this thread and you should find out.... http://www.revscene.net/forums/sick-...r-t574512.html Quote:

LOL many M3 Owners aspire to own a 911 ?
Perhaps E36 M3 Owner. comparing to YOUR 911
After reading this thread most 911 owners will run to their bmw store and pick up the M3 instead.
But Dtox is a E9X owner and his car is FAR FAR more superior than
this :
Pfft you are making 911 owners look bad.
They are great cars but they are not ignorant little shit like you.
Dtox should be qualified to hand you your ass, he has most likely driven most cars and his opinion counts. At least he has owned (as he stated) a M3, a C4s, a LP560, and a LP570. (Not too sure what else he has owned this is from what I have read on Revscene.
Bring this shit to FightClub and make this a free for all.
