But to continue with the "elite" debate, in my opinion it is a status that you are not at (maybe not yet if that may be the case). The true elites are those who own the fortune 500 companies (or are the board of directors/majority shareholders/founders etc), not the vp's. The elite are the ones who fill a certain edition of forbes magazine every year and can blow what both your Porsches cost without any regrets.
And to make it clear I do not have a problem with your cars. It is your "I am better than you" atitude that made me post in this thread. | The true elites are the ones who are more at ease with themselves perhaps. It's the appreciation and not necessarily the ownership of goods.
As far as wealth is concerned, there is much more in this world than publicly traded companies. Not having to work a day in ones life is not necessarily shameful, it all depends on how one carries oneself and what one does with ones time.
It doesn't matter if you're the son of a wealthy factory owner or a blue blood trust fund baby.
And the high fashion debate is quite entertaining everyone is only talking about off-the-rack ready-to-wear items. A pair of shoes and a few hang bags, what about something a little higher end from Garrard, Van Cleef & Arpels, Chaumet, or Harry Winston?
People will always brag, it's kind of fun watching, like a harmless black comedy, no?
By the way, nice slim fingers RR.. |
