To the many "car enthusiasts " on here,they really don't give two shits what numbers their cars run,they just simply enjoy them and are proud of what they got,along with many others that feel the same,and that's what's important to them.

Nobody is whining or is bitter,maybe it's just you that feel this way.

Just so you know,I have built a few cars in my younger years that will destroy your Porsche,you don't see me bragging about it.

Clearly attributes such as hp and acceleration are of great importance to enthusiasts. We have lists about fastest car around Nurburgring, fastest car around the Top Gear's test track, why not quickest car on RS? The ones whining are the ones who are taking it personally because they can't compete.

That's funny - The thread is clearly titled, "quickest car on RS." For those who view this thread with bitterness go ahead and start "Why I feel my slow-ass car deserves recognition"

Hahaha. Since this is an objective ranking, I'm letting the cards fall as they may. The rules are simple and fair. I have no idea ahead of time who will be in the standings at the end of the day.

Who are the real car enthusiasts?
 

It's interesting I find it more fun chatting with those who know and appreciate cars (the features, pros and cons, etc.) than those who may own them but have no idea what their expensive machinery can do.

To me, those who understand cars as engineering masterpiece are the real enthusiasts.

So what I have a faster car than you but what's the point to put you down. We all have different needs there is more to life than 0-60 and 1/4 mile, no?

1) There are many other threads to discuss subjective aspects of various cars, which I do participate in. This is not one of those threads.
2) You should list your vehicle if it is quicker. Unlike some others in here, I do not feel "put down" if someone has a quicker vehicle. ;)

Of course, this is your thread, but I'm too lazy to list the numbers, look at my avatar if you must.

Really, we all buy our cars for our own needs. Some like 0-60 and 1/4 mile, some prefer the stealth factor, others biggest bang for the buck, many for comfort and luxury features. Or safety. And I suppose few for the showoff factor to a certain degree. Some buy the cheapest car to fit their needs.

I rather talk to a Civic owner who appreciates what an AMG can do than a Bugatti owner who only knows how to cruise Robson to get some pathetic attention.

You've been posting here for a few years, and I've always wondered whether you had one. I've never seen you posting any personal impressions of the car, so I assumed you were just a fan of the 911 Turbo because there's little point to using a pic in your sig but never talking about the car.

Again, let's try to keep within the scope of the current thread. This is about ranking the top 3-5 quickest cars owned by members on RS!

frankly, i prefer if this thread can be changed to where people can brag about their cars beating the factory RATED speeds. IE: my prelude is rated at 6.9 seconds for 0-60. i'd be hella proud and be bragging if after my mods, i get ~6.2 seconds for example.

as of right now, my slow prelude has no right to be on this thread ;[

My GT3 is modified with Cargraphic headers, exhaust, high flow filter, DME tune, so should be a tad faster
