New Business Model for DDM Tuning. DDM HID kits are legendary for their price and life time warranty, they've sold millions of kits and developed a huge amount of name recognition ]across the tuning world through them. Despite that success, DDM has decided to restructure their business model and stop selling HID kits. I wonder why? http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1583933 This might have a little something to do with it  http://i1090.photobucket.com/albums/...ylor88/DDM.jpg |

thanks for the resize..good info |
im buying my third set of headlights with projectors, angel eyes and HIDs, including tail lights ive bought before and moldings, spent close to $4000 with them over 4 years and have only great things to say. good service, they stand behind their product. too bad they wont sell HID stuff anymore. |
Damn tbh I've never really looked into HID kits and never heard of DDM, I don't really care that they mislabel their colour temperatures, I'm interested in purchasing a kit now haha they are probably better than the el cheapo $50 ones I got from HID outlet last year and never installed |
i got ddm hids lol |

their HID kits are great |
Hmm I bought their HID kit about 2 months ago...I havent installed them yet because I havent had time....but after reading this...hmmmm |
someone has beef with DDM. There are so many accounts of grammatical errors in the images it can't be freaking serious. Also the sensational images of a crashed bmw 3 series and sheared shock support mean absolutely nothing at all. The car and the images are probably there to induce fear in the consumers. |
Wow this is hilarious and its also an end to cheap HIDS. Here's my 2 cents. I've used and seen a few different types of HID kits before, and with DDM, I've actually complained to them before saying that my 4500k was way too blue and closer to 6000k rather than white. All they said was that they were the whitest color that they offered and now I know why. Since then, I've swapped to their 3000K color bulbs which look almost stock/milky yellow as opposed to JDM golden yellow. So pretty much their colors SUCK and you will not get what you originally wanted. Review of actual kit is pretty good! States that it's digital and it has never failed me even once, and the 35w produces next to no heat. What I did notice was that the light output isn't as bright as some other china brands out there though. The best part about their bulbs is that their rubber ring seal is as good as perfect. I've used other good brands before with some condensation issues. No such problem with DDM bulbs todate. Posted via RS Mobile |
I fought with those guys already once. They didn't honour the warranty for my HID kit, made me pay for shipping for units that still don't work. |

^ Just because it comes from the same factory doesn't mean there aren't different grades. |
