this movie looks like garbage, its supposed to be about the creation of the xmen. it doesnt even follow the original storyline, cyclops and gene grey were apart of the original xmen, i dont understand how marvel and hollywood have access to hundreds of stories from the comics and yet they choose to go there own route and create a storyline up themselves......alot of the characters arent even popular xmen characters... i will not watch this!

pretty sure this is about when xavier and magneto came up with the idea of xmen. It's when they were best friends wanting to create a new world but had two different visions of the new world which caused them to drift apart and become enemies. (which is the original storyline) I doubt this is an xmen origins type of movie that they made up.
By the way, a lot of the characters in here are popular with xmen fans. The hellfire club? Sebastian Shaw? Emma Frost? Moira? These are all major characters in the xmen universe... I don't think you're actually a fan of the comics.. just a fan of mainstream xmen like cylcops and wolverine.

So it sounds like FOX is trying to get a 'Twilight' thing going with this movie (pandering to lil girls) they were even trying to cast some guys from Twilight to act in this film (taylor lautner) and they're even trying to re-cast a guy they got to play Beast because they think he's too old (28)

Oh I never really read the comics but i did which the original series as a kid and have done research on the past xmen storylines. the story is infact about magneto and xavier and there visions of how to create the new world. but i dont believe those characters were the ones involved in the original storyline from the comics. correct me if im wrong. my opinion stands on hollywood misinterpreting the storylines and making them untrue to the comics.
I don't remember that far back into the xmen but I know the hellfire club was around. I don't think it was with emma frost though.. Moira is definately there from the beginning since she was Xavier's gf when he was young. Beast and Havok shouldn't be there though. Other than that it's pretty solid.
when are sentinals coming? I'd be more interested if they brought the original cartoon back uncut. wolverine's one liners were so bad ass like clint eastwood

I remember getting so friggin excited when they teased us in one of the previous movies (can't remember which one! 2nd I think? ) where they are doing the simulation, and wolverine cuts the head of a sentinal off? So choked when it turned out to be a tease

yeah I faintly remember those story lines.. Isn't Mag/Emma after the Xmen were created though? Can't remember!!! gotta go find the comics somewhere now haha

Man they better not fuck it up. I mean you reboot something because they previous movie sucked right? It'd be sad to start fresh only to suck more than the movies they were rebooting from. *Cough* Street Fighter Legend of Chun-Li.

I always seen Xavier having some asian in him. Don't know what it is. it was the eyes. Even Patrick Stewart looks like he had some asian in him. james mcavoy is as white as rice. why does he have hobo gloves on? infact why does he look like a hobo?

they should have gotten Tom Hardy since he played Picards clone in Star Trek Nemesis
but i guess since he's bulked up that wouldn't work too well (he could probably drop it and regain it in time for Batman like Christian Bale did though)
I swear to god that there were some shots in TNG that made picard look like he was mix with asian. especially when he was on Riza with that Vash chick.
This episode in particular i remember when he was younger he had an asian presence in him. Vash was hot by the way. fuck i'm a startrek nerd
