Phone question Is it possible to forward my land line calls onto my cell phone for a day ? any extra cost ? looking for a quick answer plz , thx |
I forgot what the number was to forward it, but depending on your telephone plan, there is a extra fee |
Cost,if any, will come from the landline side For ur cell it'll just be a regular incoming call which will use your airtime depending on your plan Posted via RS Mobile |
Press *72 than the number you want to forward to. *79 to cancel I think Posted via RS Mobile |
why have a landline if your going to forward it to your cell? |
Yes you can. I do it all the time when I'm doing things like job hunting or what have you. |

I believe so. I'm sure there's a list of commands on Telus' web site some where or you can call their customer services and ask them. |
i just called shaw ... *72 to add and *73 to cancel the thing is i have to suscribe to a 10 dollar a month package which isnt ideal for me :( coz i only needed for a day ..that sucks |
Ahhh you're with Shaw. They do it a bit different :( Just text the guy with your cell #? |
If you have voicemail on your land line, I guess you could change your message and to let your family friend know what number to reach you at? |
Im not sure, but google voice might be able to help in this situation. I know it can be used for call forwarding, just maybe not how you want it to be used. |
Google voice doesn't fully work in canada yet IIRC you can only dial out. It also doesn't solve the OP's problem of forwarding his home phone. |
