pretty sad how whitfield's got cancer and wont be returning, hope the new guy can fill his shoes and not make the show fall flat on it's face.

Great way to end the season. I'll look past the lack of nudity in this episode as all the action clearly made up for it.

I thought it was pretty good, but not epic. Letting Gannicus walk away a free man just seemed like a bit of a letdown given how much internal grief the guy had and I was hoping it would drive him to a better ending? Also, seeing that poor slave girl get caught and killed actually made me feel bad. I mean, I know she's a slave but this poor girl gets DP'ed for her first time and becomes a spampurse on demand, she deserved to get away! Haha

I love how they brought the end around to the end of Blood and Sand. It really was a perfect ending.
