That was an awesome start to the show. I find that it's best for people who have never watched this show before to fast forward the first 2 minutes. This way you get to watch how it all began then watch spartacus season 1 after.

I'm actually very glad they decided to do a prequel. Being able to see Ashur, Crixus, and Doctore prior to what they have become in Season 1 will be very interesting.

Fucking awesome show! Too bad it's only a 6 episode prequel and no forseeable date for season 2 of sparacus to complete and released. It's a shame how andy whitfield will not be able to continue on the role of spartacus

watched the first ep, really not feeling it. ah well not a fan of the gore and the swearing doesnt fit

the acting is definitely not on Rome level, and the lines felt out of place and awkward, and the tits are just meh.
I guess I watched too much porn.

On the same note, what an awesome season premiere! Loved it! Wish it's a bit longer than 6 episodes though!

When it's more realistic it's more nausiating. But I'm absolutely hooked on this show too, just like I was Blood in the Sand.
