| New Gear!
Hey guys. Over the past few weeks I spent a lot of time searching for a 1 piece leather suit to take to the track this year. I looked all over the place online and in person and I ended up going with RS Taichi. At first I tried on the Alpinestars MX1. It felt nice, but the sizing was a little off. I was stuck between a US40 and 42 and it just didn't feel right. So I called up Vince @ Redlinegear.ca, and after a few phone calls and emails we eventually determined my size and I ordered the RS Taichi GP-WRX R302 suit.
All i can say is WOW. I'm 5'10", 170LBS and the US42 fits me like a glove. Out of all the suits I've worn, this one was by far the most comfortable and relaxing (as comfortable and relaxing as a body of armor and impact absorbing foam can be lol). The leather is supple and soft, and there are tons of stretch panels to allow for lots of movement. I haven't gone for a ride yet but I can only imagine how good the suit will feel once it's broken in.
If any of you guys are on the fence about getting a new suit, I definitely suggest you take a look at RS Taichi. Vince @ Redlinegear.ca gave me a really good deal on the suit and a pair of gloves so feel free to give him a shout.
my 1 piece, jacket, gloves and bike are all blue/white... but guess what my helmet looks like?
lol

Congrats on the purchase! Vince/Gabe at redline are great guys. I bought my back/chest and my wife's back protector from them. I'd like to buy RS Taichi gear, but too $$$ for me. I had to buy my leathers and most of my other gear from closeout deals from newenough |

Love the RS Taichi Stuff, got the same gloves.
I had the RS Zero Suit, Japanese Leather made in japan, damn amazing. Shouldn't have sold it, all the Japanese leather suits are $2k and up.

Shouldn't have sold it, all the Japanese leather suits are $2k and up. | Japanese cowhide is expensive cause the cows that are herded(correct term?) are raised for their hide and the meat is an afterthought. The leather comes out softer and suppler. Also the graphics are silkscreened on and not the traditional drum dyed which keeps the softness. Quote:

Bought a vented leather jacket from Rubber Side Down yesterday. So far, I'm happy with the purchase. I think I would have had to pay double the price for a jacket similar in price/quality.
No more squidding.

No more squidding. | Until the nice weather, then we can squid in flip flops and board shorts to Kits beach, hard park and pose. |

Dude, you totally forgot that we have to meet at the Starbucks on Cornwall with sunglasses on and popped collars while sipping on our mega-fucker lattes.

The barb wire breaks and scratches the cows as they graze against it or when they use it as a scratching post and degregates the skin.
