Service @ The Speed Syndicate

I went to the Speed Syndicate just yesterday for my car based on the referrals by everyone here on revscene... and wow I gotta thank you guys for naming the Speed Syndicate.

At first the place was hard to find, I had to call 3-4 times, but they were kind enough to not be annoyed and actually waited for me outside of their garage to wave me in. In my case, I had to order spacers and had no idea how to do it. Some places I've been with in the past did not want to do it for me due to liability issues... But these guys over at the Speed Syndicate assured me with confidence that they knew what they were doing, and they did! It seemed to me that have vast experience in this field as they knew exactly how and what to do, got in and out in 30 minutes.

I was greeted by Curtis and one of his staff member. They helped me carry the rims inside and proceeded to measure what size of a spacer I needed. I had a lot of questions to ask but they immediately knew every question so I was impressed already.

I gotta say, these guys are good... They know their stuff and have excellent customer service for sure.

Anyone tried a custom exhaust from them? Do you know how much they charge?

They need some experience with VW's though. Took them a little bit to figure out how to install the downpipe on my GTI, haha.

i didn't find there exhaust work to be anything to write home about. They used mild steel and a mig weld when i wanted stainless and tig. I will take the blame for that because there was never a conversation about it.

to remove a bottle neck, make a spacer and install a o2 bung was 350. i didn't feel there was a good value in that purchase.

there service was excellent

Hey guys,

I just wanted to share with you my experience with The Speed Syndicate. I recently imported a vehicle from the US and needed to get new tires. I had the tires sent to Blaine and made a last minute appointment with Alex for Saturday at 1pm. Unfortunately, little did I know, the NEXUS lineups were congested. There was absolutely no way I would have made it back in time. Alex did what he could do to accommodate my last minute request but unfortunately, things don't always work in our favour. So instead, I asked Alex if I could at least drop the tires off at the shop and come back on Tuesday morning. He was more than happy to let me do so and when I showed up to the shop, I saw before me a mini-RS meet. Alex helped me unload the tires from my car and away I went.

Fast forward to today, the appointment was scheduled for 9am. I show up and instantly, the doors open and in I went. The guys there took good care of my wheels, installed my tires and notified me of a defect on one of the wheels, ensuring I understood what the issue was. The customer waiting lounge was neat, well-kept and Alex even made coffee and printed out a personal document for me. Now that is what I call customer service!

Overall, I had an excellent experience with The Speed Syndicate. I would not hesitate to return for any upcoming maintenance on my vehicle and their Corghi wheel machine was awesome. The guys there did an excellent job and their prices were competitive. I would highly recommend you guys to give The Speed Syndicate a chance to work on your cars.

It's not like he was furious, he just means that even though it never crossed his mind over the specifics, maybe the professionals should've brought it up. But that's just what happens when both parties assume.

I kinda had my own encounter with them not bringing stuff up, wanted to get some work done a few months ago, they didn't tell me they weren't open that day and I showed up, and they PM'ed me here after I asked and apologized for not being available as they were tuning their car at the track.
