| Tire fitting - near Maple Ridge?
Looking to get some tires swapped around on rims - will need some stretching on slightly... Any idea where around Maple Ridge would be the best place to go and not get ripped off?

For future reference I have brought in tires and wheels both bought elsewhere to Kaltire in Maple Ridge and had great service. They have put 205/55/14 and even 225/50/14 V710 r-comps on my 14x5.5 daisies on the Miata for autox. Not at all bothered by seeing something out of the ordinary and weren't bothered by the fact I wasn't buying anything there.

dude, 225 on 5.5" is not stretched......
nor is 205 :S
if anything those are HUGE tires for a 5.5" width
considering my 17x7" are on 215's and those are perfect for the rim

225/50's on a 5.5" rims are just annoying cause the tire is so wide it's hard to keep the tire, opposite the side of the arm, in the drop centre. You basically have to force the tire to balloon in the centre of the tread to get it seated.

you = "dude, 225 on 5.5" is not stretched......" = referring to a different poster's comment (not OP)

Hahaha, funny stuff. Yeah, all I was saying is it's out of the ordinary and they weren't phased by it. The reason for doing that is I was restricted to my stock wheel width in stock class for autox. For the r-comps I was running 205s before, but I found a set of 225s used super cheap so I thought why not. And anyway, if they can put really wide tires on narrow rims, I don't see why they wouldn't be able to put really narrow tires on wide rims.
