| Painted lip spoiler from eBay
Does anyone have experience with Painted lip spoiler on ebay?
Are those ones from Taiwan usually decent in quality?
This lip spoiler is made from ABS so I'm not too concerned about fitting issue.
I thought I'd check first here.
one of the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Paint...Q5fAccessories
TIA

Not that bad of a deal considering they paint it for you too. Fitment might be WAY off though so take that into account as you said.

Even you match the colour code, it will never match exactly. Also I believe most of them just simply spray paint it and let it dry, at least I can tell mine is like this.
Ending up paying another $100 to get it done properly.

i bought one of those when my spoiler got stolen all the time a few years ago
quality sucks, paint sucks, dimension sucks. OEM spoilers have smooth round edges, and these fake ones have sharp edges, not to mention u have to bend the curvature urself, which usually ends up looking horrible. and they lack the gloss or top coat that makes the oem spoilers shiny.
ps: lol the spoiler on my avatar when it was taken was when I had the fake ebay ones

ps: lol the spoiler on my avatar when it was taken was when I had the fake ebay ones | My experience for the E46 BMW M3 lip spoiler echoes the above poster. But I also just bought one to go on my 2010 MB C300, which fits perfectly but the color was off. As the spoiler for my particular car is molded to fit the shape of the edge of the trunk it fits very well. I ended up having to ask a body shop to repaint it because the difference in color drove me crazy. Lesson learned, next time buy the version thats unpainted. |

I've seen $139 for painted, $80 for unpainted
I guess I'll get unpainted one and save $60 and take it to bodyshop
thanks

I found out proper paint code wasn't listed on ebay listing,
Seller said white on MB is probably won't match.
So I'm ordering unpainted one...
and I've been lazy and my gf is trying to kill me for not ordering for 4 month.. lol
