Best place for exhaust for f150 Just bought a f150, looking to get new exhausts for it Any recommendations? |
mopac or lordco are decent...or Buy online and pick it up from the usa.....that's your best bet then go to an independent shop to have it installed Flowmaster 44's would sound decent with a 4.6/5.4 Posted via RS Mobile |
+1 for Flowmaster for a deeper growl. The Flowmaster Force II is a dual exhaust coming straight out from under the rear bumper, which looks very cool, like a sports car. Don't expect any power improvements, despite what the website says. Also, if you tow a boat, you might want to stay with something that keeps the exhaust to the side, otherwise it will go under water when launching/recovering the boat. |
I like the sound of my flowmaster 50 series SUV. Nice and bassy but screams @ the higher RPMs. It's not so aggressive ... but you could be like me and get electric cutouts so you have straight pipes at the flick of a switch :) I got mine from DMH cutouts http://www.dmhperformance.com/ It's pretty easy to run the wiring yourself, and get it installed by hoegler or some other decent exhaust shop. |
http://www.borla.com/home.aspx&rct=j&q=borla&cad=rja "This beast's got 500-horsepower and a Borla exhaust system. It does 0-60 in what, 4.3 seconds?" |
I'm running a Magnaflow on my Tundra, and it fits like shyte! Imho, go with a custom exhaust. I went to VND Motorsports in Surrey and had Shaun weld me up a custom setup. It's much better than the Magnaflow, and doesn't bang when I'm wheeling. |
