| Experience with JK Japanese Autosales?
I'm currently looking for a K20A2 or a K24A3, and I found them both at JK. I searched the forums and there are some old posts describing a few bad experiences with JK, at the same time a few shops have told me that getting a good engine from JK is just the luck of the draw.
I haven't tried Nagasaki, but there are also tons of old posts saying how crappy their engines are. So question is, are these places still crappy, or have they improved in the time since those threads were posted? I have also called pretty much every reputable shop in the area, and there was only one that actually had a K20a2, and the price quoted was way higher than even what our lucky American counter parts had to pay. JK's prices were extremely reasonable on the other hand, but I am just not sure about the place.
JK and nagasaki seem to have a monopoly on JDM engines here locally, and no Canadian websites seem to carry any K series motors. If I was in America, a quick craigslist search would have probably yielded like 50 decent engines by now. Ugh...
