Good time to invest in corp bonds?

Is it a good time to re-allocate money from a canadian equity mf into a corp bond mutual fund? I have no clue about bonds ( i despise them!!)..

Looking for opinions backed up with data. Meeting with the bank advisor next week. Doing research before going in :)

Usually, when things have heated up, the most common thing to do is to take some profits off the table and scale what profits were made into cash or bonds.

The problem is from what I can tell, bonds are in a total bubble of their own.

This is why everyone seems to be going down the gold or precious metals route.

I'm not a gold bug which has subjected me to a lot of criticism and to make matters worse, gold has gone up far higher than I expected it to which make those who oppose me argument stronger.

I could be wrong about the bond market too.

The best thing anyone can do for any investment, is take a look at the numbers, see if it really makes sense, and then if you're comfortable, pull the trigger.

Sometimes the hardest part of investing is taking action.
