M60 is powerful, but the recoil is a problem. Ive been trying to use the PKP, but it seems like the foregrip accuracy has been badly nerfed. Ive battled between the 249 and 240 as a replacement, but Im still undecided. Posted via RS Mobile |

m240b without grip or bipod its horrible
but with grip its the perfect gun.
rate of fire 750 vs m249 800
but it feels stronger

It is stonger, m249 is a 2.23 round while the 240B is 7.62
I've only used the m60 for like 10 minutes and it's rate of fire is definately slower but it seems like a stronger gun in a bipod position than

For accuracy, power, and recoil the M240B with a foregrip is the best LMG. The M60 and PKP are 7.62 as well but they just don't compare. The PKP has so much recoil it's literally useless. I just started using the M36 so we'll see how it handles.
As for the Assault kit the AEK-971 is the best gun by far. You have to have the AMMO specialty though because it rips through rounds incredibly fast. I run mine with a Kobra RDS, underslung rail / M320, and a long barrel. Got a 23 kill streak with it lastnight

The new MG36 isnt bad either, enjoying that one now.

i like playing with the 249 more
but i couldnt say which is better, because i havent figured the 240 out yet

IMO 240B is better than 249, although 249 is better if

I just started using the M60 again, and find that the low ROF makes it better to shoot than the M240 with a foregrip. Suppression fire however, is not exactly a strong suit since the spray is all over the place.

Im surprised no one is giving the QBB-95 any love.
It currently is my favourite LMG.
I use a RDS, fore-grip, and silencer. I call it the Silent Death.

i love both the M240 and M249... cant pick which one is better
i use the bipod, extended mag, Kobra RDS and i hunker down with my ammo boost specialization... and i just go to town.. haha... very good to suppress while my team goes in for the kills.. if they pop out, i usually get the kills...

Double post, but I'm fresh off an 18-1 game of TDM Operation Firestorm. 17 kills went unanswered because people REALLY want the roof of the big building near the shipping containers with the stairs that you can jump to the ladder with. I was using the M60/Foregrip/Holographic, and locked that shit down. Managed my second ever Nemesis ribbon in that game.
