I want it to be another RedBull season. Adrian Newey FTW.
However I don't want to make any predictions until at least the first race.. there are too many changes this year to predict the dominant car(s) just yet.
KERS, Pirellis, adjustable rear wings, etc.. the mind boggles to think who will have advantage

Kubica's year is over before the season has even started. Link on news about him.
How can his manager let him do a rally?
Hopefully he manages to save his hand!
The only top line person who lost limbs in racing is Alex Zanardi.. ironically both Kubica and Zanardi both raced for Williams.

GO BANANA!!!
In all honesty, it looks like it's gonna be a close season this year. I'm not gonna take a side yet.
Btw, anyone see the new Ferrari F150 yet? How much can it tow?
(I realize it's the F150 due to something about Italy's unification, but I couldn't help it).

If you really really like F1, just go to a race.
It's a cliche, but television doesn't capture how insanely loud and fast these cars are, and above all, how incredibly quickly they corner. Unfortunately I'm guessing that Montreal isn't the best show of this since the corners in Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve are generally slow, but... just go.
I may be going to a Japan this year... we'll see.

As to Kubica driving rally? Seems like it was a condition that Kubica insisted on in his driving contract. http://en.espnf1.com/renault/motorsp...ory/40129.html |

yeah apparently Kubica has always rallied surprised he's able to move his fingers though! when the docs were expecting a year, in a best case scenario, for him to recover function
wonder if they can save his arm though sounds like he'll need a couple operations for it; he already has titanium screws in his shoulder!

i think along with mark webber, rubens barichello, robert kubica is another one of those drivers who need a better team
those guys have talent but are either stuck behind the trophy boy or in a sub-par team lol

I may be going to a Japan this year... we'll see. | what do you mean there's a few quick corners , but its at the hair pin where its at.. banging popping downshifts, squeeling tires, acceleration, passing
besides its right in the middle of the city, great atmosphere, fantastic peeler's, great food, montreal is awesomely fun during the f1 weekend.
if you go on the cheap, you can do montreal
flight 650$ at the moment
ticket 130$ for standing 3 day
hotel for 4-5days 4-700$ if you can survive in uber cheapness, or split a room amongst 4
unlike suzuka, which i've gone to is a billion miles from anything, great track, but so far away from anything, we drove out there in my friends rx8 from tokyo, left tokyo at 5am got to the track around 11.
my buddies have also done singapore, monza, monaco.. all great tracks with awesome atmosphere.
any track is worth going to if you can afford it
i'd love to go to singapore and spa

I'm just saying that there are no truly fast corners at Montreal because they're all chicanes or hairpins... certainly nothing like Maggots/Becketts at Silverstone, practically all of Barcelona or Spa... | How does one get to Suzuka without a car? Seeing as I may go there, I'd like to know. Quote:

| Agreed... and Spa is incredible, though it is on the outer reaches of bumfuckasshole nowhere, too.
