Nono, whats stupid is making a thread asking how to milk more money out of icbc, and then arguing about every comment, when the only thing you CAN do is negotiate with the adjuster.
You may not like my suggestion, but what you want is also taking advantage of the system. ICBC knows most of its customers dont have access to a body shop or cheap labour, so what they do is pay to have your car fixed. the money they pay out to the shop = labour + parts.
the reason they wont give you the full money is because they dont want to pay greedy people out and have them blow the money on anything else but the car. the insurance covers the car, and the car only.
understand?
