ASUS G73SW

i am looking to replace my ancient desktop with a netbook. i asked around and this was recommended to me:

http://ncix.com/products/?sku=58102&...nufacture=ASUS

i need it for everything... gaming, multimedia, work, everything. i know it's 8lbs but the most i'll ever move it around is to make some desk space or bring it to/from work.

it's also $1900cdn-ish... are there cheaper alternatives, or is this pretty much it?

don't spend $1900 on old technology..

the next gen of mobile videocards has already been released.

Check them out here http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_family.html

also, the Sandybridge processors has a design flaw and they're all getting recalled.. so it'd be best to wait until everything's been fixed

^ >$2000 after taxes bro.

Well being fair, that G73 series is one of the most powerful desktop replacements you can buy. That thing can run Crysis 2.0 and just about anything else.
